Dave's Pet Care

We were trying to look for a pet-sitter ASAP and Richard was so gracious to do it for us. This was our first time leaving our Carl to total strangers but Richard made sure to send pictures and updates on how Carl was doing. Carl sniffed around his place a bit and decided to sit beside his 7-year old son. It was so adorable! For those looking for a pet-sitter on such short notice, definitely try to reach out to them, and I highly recommend Richard 😊

Richard was incredible with my dog Milo. Trusting someone with my best friend that wasn't a part of a mainstream franchise pet center was tough at first, but everything in my gut told me I could trust Richard, and I sure was right. And to the degree I felt moved to leave a review. The communication, love, attention, and picture updates through my dog's stay was something I could not imagine could be better for me, and most importantly for my dog Milo. I will be a semi-frequent visitor to Omaha, and I know where my dog will be staying every time going forward.

I found myself as a visitor to council Bluffs with a last-minute change of plans that caused me to need dog boarding. Dave was busy, but he recommended his friend/employee Richard Sullivan. Richard kept my dog in his home for a full week. My dog has severe storm anxiety, but Richard was able to handle this and even took my dog with him to several errands and outings and family events. I was very comfortable with it and would definitely use him again!!

I came to Dave near the first of December after my sitter had fallen through for Christmas break. Dave not only picked up the phone the first time I called, he got me confirmed and booked within that same day. During my vacation, Dave sent pictures and videos of my little Husky dog and reassured me she was in good hands. On the way back home, my flight was delayed three hours and I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to pick her up at a reasonable time. Not only did Dave accommodate the crazy flight schedule, he kept my pup fed and entertained until I was able to come by at nearly midnight. Now that we’re back home and unpacked, it’s like we never left home. Dave, you continue to impress and I would hands down recommend you to anyone looking for a sitter worth their weight in gold.

Dave was a very layed back guy, he was able to watch our dog on short notice, and his rates were phenomenal! He watched our dog Paij for a few hours and for her first time boarding she loved it! He took her for a walk and got her ready for us. I would definitely go back to him in the future! Thank you Dave!!

Thank You Dave for taking great care of our boys! This was the first time our fur babes have been boarded. Dave made us feel comfortable as we were anxious about boarding them. The boys were with Dave in his home, not in a kennel all day! Dave sent multiple updates on how the days were going and photos. So glad we found Dave Pet Care! We will definitely be back! This home style boarding instantly made my dogs and myself feel comfortable. The dogs were well looked after and we received photos as well as a text letting us know they were doing well. This facility was clean and had a warm homey feel. The owner, Dave, looked after our dogs and he instantly bonded with them and ensured we were comfortable with him.
