Camp Run-A-Mutt East County

Very friendly staff. They make you feel so comfortable leaving your baby. I have never had a bad encounter with any of the employees. Highly recommend this camp. Even if I have to drive it is worth it.

Our Chihuahua mix has been there twice so far, Eddie seems very happy there from what I can see on the camera. He also comes home tired so he gets plenty of exercise. Our cats are happy about that, too.

LOVE THIS CAMP!!! Had a great first day experience with my mini schnauzer, I couldn’t see her on the camera and when I called to ask the workers on the phone and ask if they can see her. They not only checked in on her but put her in front of the camera and gave her extra rubs and attention. I really appreciated how sweet and respectful they are ! Will be continuing coming to this camp!

My Aussie maple absolutely loved going to camp run a mutt and we’ve always had a great experience until she came home with an obvious puncture wound and my fiance had gotten no info other than she got scratched. When i called and spoke to someone the lady assured me there wasn’t a scuffle that they saw. I’m sorry but working in a vet office for 5 years i know a bite wound when i see one. I feel as if it was handled very poorly for the amount that we pay to bring our dog there. Sadly we won’t be returning.

If your dog is high energy i would advise do not take your dog to camp run a mut they can't handle high energy dogs

My 2 year old golden retriever had gone to this specific Camp Run A Mutt for about 6 months. Over that time. She was attacked twice by a malinois, the same one within one month. The second time needed stitches. The most frustrating part was the workers who replied, "we personally know the owner of the malinois, she's very nice." Honestly, my issue is with the dog, not the owner. I am sure the owner is nice. This seemed like an irresponsible answer. Fast forward two months and my golden has had non-stop issues at the Camp Run A Mutt Chula Vista because she is deathly afraid of any dog getting near her face. THANK YOU CAMP RUN A MUTT EAST COUNTY FOR NOT WATCHING MY DOG, GIVING HER PTSD, AND GIVING ME AN AWFUL RESPONSE. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE. Their new parking is shitty - pun intended because it is outside a septic tank business. Good luck if you're in a hurry to get to work to drop you dog off.

Camp run a mutt staff are very kind and helpful. I had to drop my dog off for boarding due to a last minute family emergency and they made sure to find out if they could take him with such short notice and they did with no hassle. I am very grateful for their flexibility given the stressful time of not knowing our return date. They also cut his nails since they noticed how long they were and I really appreciate that! Thank ypu so much for your hard work!
