Dogtopia of Fairfax City

I can’t say enough positive things about Dogtopia of Fairfax in a Google review, other than my dogs LOVE it! We can’t even say "doggie daycare" in our house without our dogs jumping up and running to the door! We now refer to daycare as "DD" but my boys are starting to catch on. 🤣 At Dogtopia of Fairfax, Nelson and his crew, know each dog by name, their personalities, who each dog enjoys playing with (and who to avoid). The staff cares for each dog as if they were their own. I admit I sometimes get a bit jealous at the excitement my dogs show just loading up in the car for a day at "DD". Yet, I know that level of happiness says my dogs feel safe, know they are cared for and enjoy every minute they are there. They come tired after a day of play and remind me that exercise and socializing are important to all of us. We use Dogtopia of Fairfax for daycare, boarding and regular baths for our big guy. I am so grateful to have these services in one location and convenient to home. If you are looking for a place to take your dog, don’t hesitate use Dogtopia of Fairfax!

I feel very comfortable bringing my dog here - we recently switched daycares and he now goes here twice a week. Ana and the rest of the staff are really lovely, they all took the time to give me as much information as possible during our initial "meet and greet" trial day, and seem to genuinely care about the dogs that walk through their doors. I am able to periodically check on my dog via camera and he seems to always be having a good time with his friends. The facility is also very clean.

Dogtopia of Fairfax is the absolute best! I have been taking my basset there for a couple of years and now am taking my new dog as well. My pups come home tired out and happy! The staff is amazing. They take care of my pups like they are their own. The location has such fun events with special photos and treats for a small added fee. The boarding is so convenient and often available on short service. I love being part of the Dogtopia of Fairfax community. I highly recommend them.

Dogtopia - Fairfax City is an outstanding place to send your dog for daycare or boarding. The staff is extremely friendly and engaging and they take time to know your dog. I’m signed up for daycare every day and it is very reasonably priced. Additionally, I’ve had a great experience boarding my dog at Dogtopia - Fairfax City. I travel often for work and my dog has a pleasant experience every time he stays there. Sending your dog to Dogtopia - Fairfax City with give you the peace of mind that your dog will be loved, cared for and will have a great experience every visit.

Dogtopia Fairfax City is the happiest place on earth for my sweet dog! Forget Disney, he thinks Dogtopia is literally the greatest place ever. He especially loves his favorite human, Nikki Metoyer, this woman is everything! She deserves a promotion immediately and a massive raise. She is everything your company would want in the perfect employee. Her dedication to her job, the dogs, her fellow colleagues and us as dog parents is unparalleled. She is unflappable, always positive, a problem solver and truly passionate about her job. EVERYONE that works at Dogtopia Fairfax City is spectacular, we love them all - they work so hard and make everyday special for our precious pups! Nikki just happens to be superhuman and I wanted to give her an extra special shout out for her awesomeness!

My dog was bit here today - the wounds are superficial but deep enough that blood was drawn. The other dog will be welcomed back and no effort would be made to keep that dog separate from mine. We will not be back. Dogtopia - why are you lying about the bleeding? I have it in a text message from your staff! Also - as an FYI your staff told me the other dog has a bad attitude. Why are you letting a dog with a bad attitude have open play without any ability to isolate them? Didn't you evaluate them? Where is the supervision? How many other times has this dog bit another dog? Is it just a problem with your business model that you have no way of isolating dogs that are overtired from boarding? You are right, I have options. Sad to see you are blaming me and my puppy for your carelessness.

All the Dogtopia Fairfax humans are courteous, kind, and helpful. It’s a well-run facility with additional services like boarding and spa services. They also celebrated our dog, Burton’s, birthday with a pup cup and party hat. He was not in to the hat, but loved the dessert!
