I’ve been taking my very anxious pup to Preppy Pet for over 2 years now for boarding and have been so grateful for the wonderful care of the staff and facility. My dog, who isn’t a big fan of strangers, genuinely loves the staff and the staff are so good with her — I can tell as soon as we enter the lobby. I highly recommend their private play option if you have an anxious pup! Their prices are the most reasonable in the Hendersonville area — shop around and you’ll see! Most places charge $50+ per night, but PP’s range is $30-$40 depending on the kennel size. Their franchise network allows them to keep moderate pricing and still offer a great level of care! I’ve boarded my dog for both short weekends as well as extensive 2 week stays due to travel. She always does well in PP’s facility. And it truly is saying a lot because she’s not an "easy" dog — she’s high energy, anxious, super sweet but pretty needy. Ha. If you’re looking for a staff who will take care of your pup and understand their needs, this is it. They also are very flexible with drop off and pick up times for boarding (unsure about their daycare offerings) and if you have something come up and need to change a reservation, they don’t charge you for the change. Great service and crew all around.

I am so glad I found this place! My pup loves playing here and it's been a lifesaver when I went into labor and had to drop him off for boarding at the last minute. Everyone is so nice and took great care of my pup when he's there so I never have to worry about him. Jody is so wonderful with him for grooming. You can tell they really care about the dogs

I wish I could give Preppy Pets 5,000 stars! We have been taking our rescue doodle, Charlie, to them for over a year for daycare, socialization and LOVE. Like a child, I never thought another human could love my baby like their own. The owners (Jody and Dana) and staff are amazing! They are like family! He was so scared after being dumped on the street and the minute he walked in, he knew he was safe. They also groom him and send him home in the cutest little bandanas..and the last time a sweater! They post pics of the babies on Facebook, and he is always engaged and happy. Thank you Preppy Pets for your patience, love, compassion, care, and affordability. Charlie and our family will always be forever grateful that God put you all in our lives. ❤️

Preppy Pet exceeds our expectations every time that we board our cocker spaniel. All of the staff there are very professional and have treated our pet like he was one of their own. Their booking process is seamless, and their facility is well maintained. Have been using them for over a year now and would not want Chase to go anywhere else!

Had our dog groomed and she had severe bruising and a large gash. Preppy pet denied it was them, saying she must have had that when I brought her in. I think I would have noticed her bleeding!! They shrugged and said take her to the vet. I did, and the vet said it was trauma and he’s seen other peoples pets be abused from there, said to never go back. How is this place not shut down? Her entire chest is purple!!! She passed away and preppy pet couldn’t have cared any less!! Update: It really shows his audacity in his response as the "owner" to appear innocent and pretend his staff is excellent. Look on Facebook, tons of people in the area have posted about their animals being hurt here. I texted him photos when this happened and he said "didn’t happen here, take to vet" he never apologized or took any accountability when even my vet said it’s trauma that happened at Preppy Pet and he has seen it before. My dog passed away 4 months later. I will always stand by telling everyone in this area to stay far away from this place. So far most I have told had also mentioned they hear from others to not come here.

My dog Solveig is always excited when I take her to Preppy Pet daycare. The staff is great and the owners are Awesome. When I go out of town Preppy Pet is where I board her. I know she will be safe. She also gets baths and nail trims. The price is a great value. Facility is clean.
