Wilson County K9

I can’t say enough good things about Wilson County K-9. We’ve used their boarding services several times and recently completed a three-week intermediate board-and-train program for our Doberman. My main concern was improving his duration on sits and stays, and Garrett — our dog’s main trainer — made incredible progress with him during that time. After we picked him up, Garrett took the time to teach us the correct techniques to continue training and reinforcing what our Doberman had learned. I highly recommend Wilson County K-9 for all your boarding and training needs.

Chase and Garrett are absolutely the best! Our dog Luke spent a month with them and it was extremely effective for development of his focus and discipline. We recently got married and we had our dog in the wedding and she never would have been able to pose for photos or heel when walking down the aisle if it wasn’t for Wilson County K9 and their training. Thank you for giving up the opportunity to include our fur baby in our big day:) I highly recommend Wilson County K9 for training! We sent our 3 year old lab Stella to Chase for a 3 week training course and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Chase and Garrett taught Stella sit, down, stay, place and how to heal on a leash. During the 3 weeks there was excellent communication and lots of photos and videos! After her 3 weeks were up Chase continued her training but with us taking the ropes so we could learn and so she would learn to listen to us also. Coming from a small town I wasn’t to worried about her having training, because there’s not many places to take your dogs. Moving to the Nashville area you can take your dogs lots of places so I figured it was time. She does amazing when we take her out and I’m not worried about taking her with us anymore! I also wanted her in our engagement photos and she would not have done what she did in the photos without the training! Chase and Garrett care very much about your pups and they want to see them succeed so once again if you’re looking for a trainer I HIGHLY recommend Wilson County K9!

I can’t recommend Garrett and Wilson County K9 enough. We sent our very energetic German Shepherd puppy with Garrett for 3 weeks and she truly came back a different dog, for the better. He taught her sit, down, stay, place and to heel. Before she went with him she couldn’t be around about two small kids hardly at all because she would jump and nip at them. Since being home only a week she’s playing with them in the back yard and able to be around them like a normal dog should be. It’s like having a new member of the family. We can’t thank them enough for the work they did. We got weekly video updates. Garrett spent time with us in a public place to pass over the leash to us. They even do a 3 week in home follow up visit. If you’re thinking of putting your dog through training these are your guys.

I have waited over a month to gather my words on how the Wilson County K9 team changed our life with training our dog Sirius. Sirius was very scary to anyone outside of our family full bread GSD with the scariest bark you could imagine. We honestly didn't socialize him as a puppy like we should have and it sent us to a path of board and train. Sirius could not be able to be around other people, our children could not have friends over.. it was rough. Sirius went to Garrett & Chase for 3 weeks and came back an entirely different dog. I cried on the week updates seeing strangers in public come up to him and he not react AT ALL. When we adjusted back to real life at home we immediately went to work with him and had friends come over and well no reaction!! We in fact had about 10-15 people in our home and he has done great. There are still minor corrections we have to make and even had to text the K9 team and they told us how to handle it. It truly is worth every single penny - and more. My dog is able to go into public, I am able to walk him.. which I haven't been able to do since he was a puppy. I am so grateful for the Wilson county K9 team.

Thanks to the team at Wilson County K9, our dog has come out of his shell in ways we never thought possible. He’s more confident, responsive, and truly happier. We are beyond grateful for the care, expertise, and compassion they showed our dog — and us. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, who need a knowledgeable, trustworthy trainer.
