Almost Home Boarding & Training

Katie and all the staff have taken care of our fur babies since they opened. We’ve always been pleased with training, boarding and dog day out! They are truly a wonderful extension of home and treat both owners and pets like family.

We typically use a house sitter for watching our dog. But when that was not possible, we sent him to almost home boarding. They seemed to take excellent care of him at a very reasonable price. We will be going back to this business in the future if our house sitter is not available. I would recommend this business to others needing a place for their animals.

We have used Almost Home for the last 9 years and have been extremely pleased with their service. Katie and her crew are fabulous. They really care. Not only do we use their services when we travel, but we also send our Sheepadoodle to doggie day care every Friday. Strongly recommend!

We boarded our dog Willow for two weeks. Unfortunately, she became ill while there (through no fault of the facility). The staff was reactive and sympathetic, communicating immediately regarding their concerns. We made arrangements to have Willow seen by a vet and she returned to the kennel. She following day I was again contacted that she was still not well. Willow was then returned to the vet and was hospitalized overnight. Thankfully surgery wasn’t needed. Almost Home kept in contact with me and even made special arrangements so Willow could be returned to their facility on Saturday (a day they normally do not intake). We cannot tell you how much it was appreciated the caring and sympathetic support they gave Willow. This is why Almost Home continues to be our number one choice for boarding.

I never worry when I drop off my fur babies. The staff is excellent and I’ve been gone for years and the practically family.

When our vet stopped offering boarding, we found Almost Home. Their 'kitty condos' are well thought out, with rooms they can hide in, and a room with a window with views of bird feeders. After picking our boy up, he seemed calmer and happier than times we'd boarded him elsewhere.

We had a lot of issues with our Aussie doodle being scared/timid about everything. Almost home eased her into their daycare program, giving her the special attention that she needed until she was comfortable being with the other dogs. Now over a year later she is as confident/socialized as can be! Very thankful for almost home and their staff.
