My dogs absolutely love their visit at pet suites. They’re so excited to get there, and exhausted for a whole day when they come home. The workers treat them like they are family and know them by name.
I have taken my fur babies Kane and Kazi to petsuites several times over the years and I have never had a bad experience. I love the pawgress report I get at the end of the stay with pictures. We are moving to Texas in June, they will visiting one more time as I prepare our new home. I hope in Texas we receive the same service from the petsuites there. Kane and Kazi will miss you guys. Thank you all for the phenomenal service.
Couldn’t get a still picture of Cooper walking in because he’s so happy to see the staff! I can barely get him to sit before we walk in the door. The staff is so sweet to him. He’s always excited to see the girls. He’s one happy pup! 10/10 would recommend! He’s done better with separation anxiety and because he’s a pup, he didn’t know how to interact with other dogs. PetSuites has done a great job of helping him socialize with other dogs. On Wednesday they do fun little activities for a little extra $. You don’t have to do the add on, but why not? One day for us is a week for them. I’m so glad I found this place. My 4 month old golden is obsessed! (He’s also pulling on the leash bc he saw one of his favorite staff members!)
Didn’t feed my dog, we sent him with 6 meals (the correct amount for morning and night meals), and came back with 5 empty containers and 1 full. When did my dog not eat?!?! We also paid lots extra for "progress reports and extra potty time" which is CLEARLY a scam because he was released to us covered and i mean COVERED. in pee and when we let him out after leaving he peed for about 2 minutes straight. He can’t be left alone for more than 15 minutes anymore and is clearly filled with trauma and fear. Never returning here ever again.
My experience with the staff was positive, however, the two times my dog came for daycare, he came home with injuries/bites on his face, nose and ears that were all bleeding. Each time I was told he was just enjoying play or playing with a puppy that plays rough, but I feel someone should have been supervising and intervened before multiple injuries are sustained in one day AND should have notified me, but both times, I noticed these injuries after loading him in the car to go home. Dogs who are known to bite and cause these injuries should not be welcomed in a group play setting. I understand, things can happen, but being 2/2 has made me uneasy about him returning to this location. I was going to give this day care a try one more time, but ultimately decided the injuries aren't worth the risk. I would suggest video cameras for the parents to check in on their pets or watch back when incidents like this occur.
We had to board our fur baby for the weekend, and let me just say WE WILL NEVER EVER RETURN! We have used PetSuites Middletown once before (about a year ago) and thought he would be ok for a short weekend….boy were we wrong! Dropped Buddy off Friday morning at 8am. He was fed at home before dropping him off. During check in, the woman reviewed basics, as far as what I had pre-selected when booking his boarding. I sent Buddy with 6 containers of food (as he eats specific food) - 1 for Friday night, 2 for Saturday, 2 for Sunday and 1 for Monday morning. I also selected extra individual playtime, extra PM potty breaks, and daily paw-gress reports, as well as a luxury townhouse as well. Let me just start by saying when we picked Buddy up on Monday at 12:15pm, he came out and was covered in urine!!!! He was completely wet all underneath his belly and was matted SOOOO bad I had to wrap him in a blanket to get him home and put him immediately in the bath and cut all his mattes and knots out of his fur. He smelled so bad and looked absolutely miserable! I could immediately tell he was not let outside and more than likely peed "wherever he was staying" (because I’m pretty certain it was not a townhouse) and he probably had to end up laying in his own urine for numerous hours. There is NO WAY one could get that bad in such a short amount of time if he was properly let outside to potty. I have never ever seen him go pee that long when we finally got him outside. I paid for daily progress reports for Buddy and requested one for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We did not receive anything on Friday. When I called on Saturday, no one answered the phone!!! When I called again Sunday morning, I was told "Oh sorry, we must have missed it for Buddy. We will be sure to send you one today and throw in some extra pictures." Ready for the kicker? We sent Buddy with 6 containers of food and when we picked him up, we were given 4 empty containers, 1 FULL ONE WITH HIS FOOD, and they couldn’t find the other one! You mean to tell me that my dog didn’t eat!?! When the staff was asked why on earth my dog still has a full container of food, the staff said "oh we must have missed one." That right there was the break by point! My dog was neglected and not fed!!!!!!! I cannot tell you how disgusted I feel, knowing that this boarding facility, who was trusted with the well-being of someone’s family members/fur baby, failed miserably!!! They did not feed our baby, clear evidence he sat in filth and was not let outside properly. Beyond disappointing and shameful- not to mention neglect. My dog has been glued to my side since we picked him up, visibly scarred. He won’t even let me get near the door, as he fears us leaving. The fact that my fur baby was ignored, uncomfortable, visibly scared to death makes my heart hurt so bad. He trusted that we would leave him in good hands and this facility failed at every single attempt! We will NEVER EVER take Buddy back there! How on earth could one neglect such a sweet King Charles Cavalier that simply just wants love and attention? Please, please think long and hard before taking your babies here!! If you love your dog, I strongly recommend you board them elsewhere.
We went to the lake for four days to get the cabin ready for the summer and it's too much to work and take the puppy, the five year old got to go, don't tell him cause she had a great time. Jackson the puppy broke his lead as soon as he walked thru the door cause he could see he was gonna have fun. We got updates and pictures while he was there and it made us feel much better that our beef l baby boy was having fun. The progress reports made us feel good that he was doing good to the playtime and not seeing us. I really felt like he thought we sent him on vacation. When we got back and dropped the five year old of at home and unloaded the truck we had to go pick up our baby. When he was coming out to the front, he was definitely saying hi to all his friends that he met but he didn't know he should be saying hope to see you again. He was happy to see us but you could see that he had a great time and maybe he didn't love us as much as he loved being there. So we got home and he was happy to see his older sister and he was happy with the ride home. We got home about an hour ago and they played for a few minutes and now deep asleep cause it's obvious they both are wore out. If we need boarding again it will definitely be at pet suites Middletown. The price is affordable and well worth it to feel as good as we felt leaving our kid there. He woke up as soon as I got up to take his pic sleeping.
