I cannot say enough good things about the grooming team at Olde Towne Pet Resort in North Bethesda. My cat Theo is, to put it kindly, an absolute handful when it comes to grooming. I gave him 250mg of gabapentin beforehand and he still managed to cause trouble, including biting the groomer. Despite all of that, the groomer was nothing but kind and patient throughout the entire experience. When he called to let me know Theo was ready, he was warm and considerate, fully aware that Theo had been a challenge. When I asked how it went, he simply said "we both did the best we could," which honestly says everything about his character. When my dad picked Theo up and asked if the groomer could take him back in to touch up the tail and neck area, he did so without hesitation. Given everything Theo had put him through, that level of patience and professionalism is truly remarkable. The result speaks for itself. Theo looks wonderful. I am so grateful for the care and compassion shown to my boy, and I genuinely owe that groomer an apology on Theo's behalf. This place has earned a customer for life.
We love Olde Towne Pet Resort! We take our pup, Phoebe, here for boarding when we are away with confidence knowing she is in trusted hands. This past week, Phoebe even showed excitement returning when she saw familiar faces during her drop off. The team members are very friendly and professional. Phoebe is quite an energetic and nervous pup, but the team members handle her with such care. I even referred my mom here for her two pups and she is also now a regular client. Many thanks to the OTPR team!
We had a good experience here with our cat. Soon after she checked in she had some digestive issues and the staff were really great about communicating with us about her status. The staff seems really attentive and careful about taking care of the animals. They were very accommodating for specific dietary instructions. Everyone seems really into pets here, and I would feel comfortable leaving our cat here again.
Sandra is the best groomer around!!! I have a curly cockapoo and he looks the most handsome every time. And he loves her. She also did a great job with my pup who passed away last year.
Our dog has had a great experience here - she gets lots of active time playing with other dogs, but also her own space in her kennel when sleeping. They return her to use clean and bathed. The reservation system is easy to navigate, prices are on par for the area, and drop off and pick up are easy. We haven’t used the add ons, just basic boarding with day care and a bath.
I was recommended Old Towne Pet Resort by a coworker, and I will now be recommending them too! I called to make a 2-week dog boarding reservation 30-days in advance for the peak Christmas season, and they miraculously had availability at one of their three locations (Bethesda). The gentleman on the phone was so helpful and informative and made it easy. When it came time to drop my dog off the staff were so friendly and kind, and they were extremely attentive and took detailed notes of all the items I brought with my dog and any of her quirks (e.g., severe allergies, doesn't play well with others, etc.). The space was so clean and large. I felt very reassured dropping her off as I went on vacation. When I came back to get her, the staff was helpful and, again, extremely kind and talked about her time there with details that were definitely unique to my dog. She was happy, healthy, clean, and well groomed. All of her toys and leash items were accounted for and they even ran a toy out to my car that they had forgotten in her kennel. Bottom line: 10/10 do recommend!
Fantastic. Can’t say enough about the service that my puppy Max received for his stay and train 4 week session. Matt, the trainer, is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and is a dog whisperer. The training sessions were not intimidating and he did an AWESOME job preparing me to bring Max back with tools necessary to care for a puppy. Max came back better behaved, obedient, and well trained. The facility is clean, organized, and the staff so friendly and helpful. Job well done. Will continue to bring my dog to this facility in North Bethesda. Job well done. Thanks Matt F. and team!
