Silver Spring Small Dog Boarding

I had to go on a last minute work trip and Shannon very kindly accommodated me as I needed someone to take care of my chihuahua named PJ. Stephanie and Gus are very kind and I felt comfortable leaving PJ with them for a few days. This was only his second time staying away from home, but I knew he'd be safe and loved and taken care of. Stephanie showed me around and showed me how they outfitted their space to accommodate dogs and keep them safe. Stephanie takes the extra time to give new/nervous/shy dogs attention and I appreciate that. Thank you! I will be reaching out again next work trip or vacation when I need somewhere safe and fun for PJ to stay.

Stephanie took such great care of our dog while we were on vacation and it was a relief to know he was happy and safe with Stephanie while we were gone! I really appreciated doing the meet and greet before we left to make sure it was a good fit and I loved getting lots of updates and photos. I recently boarded my 2 dachshunds with Stephanie of Silver Spring Small Dog Boarding, and I highly recommend her! I was initially attracted to this company because they only take small dogs. That was a huge plus for me. From our initial meet-and-greet, my dogs felt completely comfortable and I left feeling like they would be in great care. Stephanie was incredibly attentive and during the meet and greet asked detailed questions about routine, diet, and any quirks (they are dachshunds so lots of quirks!). While I was away, I was sent regular updates, including pictures, which made my day! I was so happy to know that the boys were having a wonderful time! When I picked them up, they were happy and when we sat down and talked about their stay, one of my dogs sat with Stephanie! I will be using Stephanie again in the future. If you're looking for a dependable and loving dog sitter, Stephanie is it!

Stephanie is the absolute best! Our dog Whisky very much enjoyed her time with her! We felt very comfortable leaving our fur baby in her care!

Shannon and Stephanie are amazing! My dog is an anxious little rescue who is terrified of everyone and everything, and Stephanie gave him so much love that he was snuggling with her on night one, and happy and wagging his tail when I picked him up a few days later. I don't trust just anyone with my pup, but I will definitely be using this pet service again soon! Shannon, the owner, was super communicative from the moment I contacted her about needing a last minute pet sitter, and sent me daily updates and photos of my dog.

Stephanie has provided incredible care to our small dogs. Under Stephanie's care we had three small dogs, a senior and two younger ones. As you can imagine, among the three dogs there was a range of needs. Our senior dog being much slower and low energy with the younger ones being pretty hyper. Stephanie provided tremendous care and attention to each dog, according to their needs. One of our dogs tends to be a bit timid and does not easily trust people, but Stephanie made him feel at ease and got good walks and cuddles from him. I know my fellow small-dog pet parents, and our pups are our whole world. It's fantastic to have someone like Stephanie who we can trust and depend on to take care of our little fur family when we have to be away.
