Dogtopia of St. Paul - University Ave

My boy Sunny has been going to Dogtopia on university for almost a year now! I travel for work and needed to find an affordable place where I could trust that my sweet boy would be well taken care of. Sophie and her team have always been so helpful in making me feel comfortable with him there, sending photos of him whenever I ask and the communication is excellent. There was even a troublesome interaction with Sunny and another dog and I really appreciated the way they handled it. The webcams are a major bonus - I love to check on him during my work day. Oh and he comes home exhausted which is also a HUGE treat for me (Aussie mom here). We love Dogtopia!

I recently started coming here and the process of getting started was so welcoming and personalized! The meet & greet was very friendly, and we got a full walk-through of the facility, were introduced to staff, and talked through all of the different boarding, daycare and spa options. The facility is very clean, well taken care of and the staff are great at remembering and recognizing us. George is so excited to come in every single time he recognizes the Dogtopia parking lot!

My dog goes here twice a week for daycare and she was boarded once so far. All of the employees are so kind. My dog gets so excited to see them at drop off and then has completely different energy at pick up because she is just exhausted. I like that they spread out their activities across different days of the week each month so even if my dog only goes twice a week she’ll still get at least one or two "bubble days" throughout the month. And their themed photo shoots span over a week so again everyone can participate. She’s only boarded once so far but they did manage to get her kind of weird dinner schedule right so flexibility is great.

Wish I could give over five stars. I called Dogtopia in distress when I got called home to Texas for several weeks because my mom suddenly needed bypass surgery. I asked if they could take my dog for boarding for essentially an indefinite amount of time, and they immediately said: "We’ve got him, no problem!" I was stressed about being gone from my dog for so long for the first time, especially since he’s an anxious boy. However, Dogtopia took such wonderful care of him (and of me!). They took pictures and sent me updates every single day. They let me know when his meds and food were running low so I could have my friends drop more off. They also regularly checked in with me and asked how my mom was doing. Dogtopia single-handedly made one of the most stressful points of my life so much easier. They showed so much love, enthusiasm, and care for Cubby, too, with the owner even spending some extra time with him since he was such a long stay. Would highly recommend to any dog parents looking for exceptional care that centers the dog’s humans, too.

We are so very happy with DogTopia. The staff is so amazing and kind with the pups, and our dog Rory absolutely loves it here. Good, reasonable pricing, and it is great if you have work or things to get done! Would 100% recommend to ANYONE who has a dog and is looking for a pup daycare! Rory has been making so many friends at DogTopia and we are so glad that there is such a great place where he can stay during the day. 5 Stars!!!

My puppy Theodore just had his first day at Dogtopia and he absolutely loved it! It was so fun watching him run around and play through the Webcam they have on their app. We're home now and he's completely worn out, it's great haha. Also they gave him a report card at the end of the day which I thought was really cute. The facility is clean and the staff clearly cares about the animals. They're very reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be bringing Theo back!

He had so much fun every time he went. He would come home tired because all the fun things that he did. He also made so many new friends!!!🤩😍 Dogtopia is a great place for your dog to hang out!❤️
