VCA Woodford Boarding and Grooming

The staff here is great, we've been taking both our dogs here for about a year. We had an issue with our puppy, Lucy at another kennel and have had 0 issues at VCA. We've went out of state several times and they always send pictures daily of the dogs playing. Their office manager, April is great as well.

Welcoming and caring staff. Staff ensured and double checked with me the dietary needs of my cats. They allowed visits every day and texted photos of my cats to me.

I had high hopes for this place, but they delivered poor service. I brought in my little dog for a full service grooming. $91. When I picked her up, she was not clean like a bathed dog should be! Covered in loose dog hair and dandruff, which got all over my car seats. I had to take her home and bathe her myself. (After which, she was all clean and soft.) I requested a refund, made phone calls, explained my issue, and gave them multiple opportunities to rectify my experience, but I was ultimately ghosted after being told the main facility manager, Danny England, would contact me. So, as promised, here's my honest review. Don't waste your hard-earned money with VCA Woodford Boarding and Grooming.

I can not say enough positive things about my experience with VCA. This was my first time leaving my dog in boarding and I was super nervous about it. VCA kept me updated by sending me pictures daily. They went above and beyond to make sure my dog was having a good time and that she was comfortable. They do such a great job and I can not recommend them enough. Their pricing is amazing compared to other boarding places in the area. I highly recommend looking into this place if you are in need of boarding or day care !

We routinely use the service of the VCA Woodford Kennel. The staff is great, helpful and very caring. My wife and I are empty nesters and our sheepadoodle is just another child for us and we would not turn our baby over to just anyone but these folk are those kind of folks caring. If you need boarding grooming or a play date this is where I recommend.

VCA Woodford Boarding and Grooming is by far the BEST place ever for fur babies. My husband and I are so overwhelmed by the highest quality of care and time this place takes to make sure your pets are comfortable, well fed, well supervised. If your pet needs medicine or special needs, they work and communicate awesome with the vets and technicians. The employees are very caring. They get along and work together to create a positive, loving environment. My cat, Buzz was boarded for the first time. He had an awesome suite designated in the cat room which had alot of room for him to move around. He also had an appointment with the vet, Dr. Jolly for medical reasons. Buzz was definitely in the best of care. Dr. Jolly was very thorough with Buzz in examining, diagnosising concerns, and he gave my husband and I quality time by communicating with us the needs Buzz is going to have in the future. EVERYONE is so caring, kind, generous with time, and loving towards every pet that walks into the VCA Hospital and the VCA Boarding and Grooming. The Staff really loves animals. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My husband and I plan to continue to bring Buzz and our other cat, Oreo to VCA. Thank you VCA Boarding and Grooming and VCA Hospital and to our Vet, Dr. Jolly.
