Petco Grooming

Mina in the Grooming department is AMAZING. She took care of my senior Golden Retriever, Doug, and I honestly could not be happier with the experience. Anyone with an older dog knows how important it is for them to feel safe and comfortable, and when I picked Doug up, he was happy, relaxed, and in such good spirits. That alone meant everything to me. The cherry on top was that he looked 5 years younger and had a spring in his step. Mina went above and beyond with the little details too, she even trimmed in front of his ears to help improve airflow and keep him more comfortable. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with, not just the grooming itself. Doug looked incredible, felt great, and was treated with so much kindness and patience. 10/10 experience. We will absolutely be back to see Mina every time!

I’m so grateful for the way Will takes care of Gio every time he goes in for grooming. Gio absolutely adores him and is always excited to see him, which says a lot about the gentle, genuine care Will gives. He never stresses my dog out, and it truly shows how much he loves what he does. Thank you, Will, for always making grooming such a positive and happy experience for Gio!

I can’t express how happy we are with the grooming that was done with Yoshi. He was happy and relaxed and so excited when we picked him up, he looked so handsome too his cut was done perfectly we will be back again. After having a terrible experience at Pet Smart I was kinda worried about leaving Yoshi but when we returned I could see how happy and well Shia was with Yoshi she did such a great job with him. Thank you

No need to be candid in your notes when booking the appointment online. They’ll use it as an excuse to turn your dog away from grooming. Full story: I told them my dog had trouble jumping due to a surgery she had to when she was 1 year old. She is 6 years old and is fully healed. She just can’t jump easily. Had an appointment at 1:45pm today and they called me at 1:00pm today and canceled the appointment. They’ve never met her, inspected her, or seen her vet history. This was going to be her first appointment here, since we just moved here. They flat out told me it was a safety issue because of what I put in her notes. I said how is this an issue, since she has been groomed consistently over a 6 year period. There is nothing physically wrong with my husky. If they were so concerned, they should have called and requested the records and told me they would need to inspect her in person. Again, they canceled the appointment based only what I said in the notes without inspecting her or reviewing vet history. Does not feel like it promotes customer honesty. I filed a complaint with corporate over this.

Best experience ever! Will went above and beyond for my babies. I am so grateful I took them here and cannot recommend him enough! We will for sure be coming back again next time we are in Anchorage. Thank you, Will ❤️

Justin did an absolutely amazing job grooming Sadie! Not only did she come back looking great, but he also managed to cut her nails — something no one has ever been able to do before. She’s usually so anxious about it, but somehow he made her feel completely comfortable. I’m beyond impressed and grateful. Highly recommend!

Finding a trustworthy groomer can be sooo nerve-wracking, especially after moving to a new area. But Edward did an incredible job with my boy! His care and attention to detail were top-notch. Highly recommend—10/10! ❤️
