Petco Grooming

I have been using Petcos groomers for about two years now and recently moved to Alabama. Before they took him back to be groomed the first time i explained that he had become very itchy, his coat had become coarse and was shedding like crazy even though he get the shed release when I bring him in. I'm so grateful that she explained that it could possibly be from the shampoos formula and instead he got a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. He has been there twice now and his shiny and soft coat is back and nomore constant itching. Opie is a happy boy! Will continue to bring him to this location.

PETCO is great for grooming. I think it’s worth the money. It’s easy to book and we have found one groomer who is terrific with our dog. If you have a nervous dog or you need a groomer who is great with cutting nails- Soup B is the best! We cannot say enough about how wonderful Soup is with our dog. We’re super happy with PETCO grooming and will continue to take our dog there because of the level of service and care they show our dog.

Do NOT take your pet to Petco - Hoover for grooming! They butchered my dog and he came out spelling like pure urine!!!

The young lady that has been trimming my Brittany's nails since he was about 14 weeks old does a fantastic job! I don't have any hesitation with my furbaby when it's time to go in for his routine nail trim. Thank you for taking such good care of him!

I took my standard poodle to have her groomed this week, and I’ll have to say that Patty did an AMAZING JOB! And all of the employees were all so very nice!

We drove 10 miles past our Petco to reach Soup, the stylist at the Hoover Petco on recommendation from another client. They treated our super anxious rescue (2.5 yrs old) as a valued client. The stylist was able to bathe him, clean his ears, brush his teeth & express anal glands. Surprisingly, despite our warnings, they were also able to clip his nails! (he resisted buffing, which we expected) Services were fully completed in an hour flat. They were gentle and kind to him, and I nearly cried when they complimented him. Despite extensive training, grooming is always a terror-filled event for this baby, which is why we had bathed him at home for the past 6 months. The last time his nails were clipped, it took 4 fully grown adults to hold him. Soup has restored our faith that Kino can be groomed in a professional setting.
