PetSmart Grooming

My 14 year old Meeko is a miniature poodle with congestive heart failure. The Joliet Pet Smart turned him away because of liability. I called Bolingbrook and talked with Maria. I explained he is healthy, happy, well behaved and still active. She scheduled Meeko with open arms. We just made sure to make the appointment a priority groom which means he is her #1 focus and done within an hour and half. To save him any extra anxiety or cage time. Her compassion, kindness and grooming skills are greatly appreciated. Maria is now Meekos groomer for the rest of his days ❤️

Great experience. Reasonable prices. If you need a cat nail trim, they’ll only schedule it on Tuesdays, though.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Tried to find place close to home but No - Paid for Nail /Face Trim and Bath....My son /puppy look the same as to when I dropped him off for $56 ... Very upset with service and Poor Customer service in the Matter..I will go back to Pet Smart in Joliet...Great Service there.

So I attempted to book a appointment for my cat online. I thought I booked an appointment for Friday afternoon. I would normally never book it during the week because of my schedule. somehow it automatically defaulted to a Tuesday. I'm a lawyer and normally I would never schedule anything during the week where I might be in court. But even if I made a mistake or somehow it defaulted or I pushed the wrong button it doesn't really matter. I didn't appreciate the nasty snarky attitude I got from the people that were there. They treated me like I was lying about booking an appointment on Friday afternoon. I Told them I have no reason to lie or makeup stories. Bottom line is that They were rude and condescending. The only nice one was the manager. I get the stuff happens and perhaps I might have accidentally hit the wrong button or did something wrong when I booked, but the attitude that I got and the snarkiness and condescension made me not want to bring my cat to them. My thought process was if they are going to be that nasty and rude over something so trivial, I don't want them touching my cat because I don't know if they're going to lose their patience with her when I am not there to watch her as they are grooming her. She is elderly and she is sick. I am also a first-time cat owner so I want to do what I can to protect her. Long story short I actually ended up canceling the appointment completely because of the attitude I received when I got there. I don't think I would bring my cat there Even if the appointment was available because of the nastiness I received. Like I said the manager was very nice but The groomers were nasty. I honestly would not want them to touch my cat when I am not there to see what is going on If they lose patience. I was told that the appointment can drag on between 2 and 3 hours And that length of time passes I can't even see what's going on makes me really uneasy. I hope they do better. Until then I'm not coming back in there for a grooming session for my cat.
