Gunbarrel Grooming

I took my dog Lucy to see Dan yesterday for grooming, and he did an excellent job! She’s so clean and soft. You can tell he’s a true dog lover, and his prices are the most affordable you’ll find in Boulder. Highly recommend!

We have been taking our doggo to Dan since he was a puppy (around 6 months), and we absolutely love all services we have gotten at Gunbarrel Grooming! Dan not only brags on how smart our pup is when we pick him up, but he walks us through how he did with each step and our puppy gained trust in Dan almost immediately! As long as we live in this area, we will be taking our puppers here. We are so thankful that this is such a personable and genuine place for your dog to be at, and we feel like he is 110% safe between drop off and pick up! We love his new cut, Thank you, Dan!

Dan is a true professional and lover of dogs. I’ve been to plenty of groomers and I truly have never met anyone as caring and talented as Dan is. Sure some reviewers have said some negative things, don’t listen to them. Dan just cares. He loves dogs and is passionate, and I would rather the person taking care of my dog be as passionate and forthcoming as Dan is than not. I will be back and will send all my dog owning friends here. Do yourself and your dog a favor and give Dan a visit.

Dan is passionate about dogs. He works weekday mornings so make sure you pick up your dog by noon if you are leaving him or her there for a grooming.I’ve been bringing my dog to him now for eight years. I think you need to realize that Dan is old school. He’s got his own way of running his business and it works for him and I think for most of his clientele. Also, he has a very dry sense of humor which I personally appreciate. His prices are oh, maybe a third of what other people charge? Also, any questions you have about your dog he’s going to have an informed intelligent answer. Thanks Dan!

Took my dog in for nail grooming with no appointment, Dan provided the service immediately for the lowest price I've seen for nail grooming. I didn't have cash and he said "catch me next time." He provided me with advice on frequency and importance of nail grooming on a regular basis, spending quite a bit of time giving me good information and correcting misinformation given to me by other chain-store groomers. He's obviously passionate about dogs and his craft but has little patience with some of the humans. I'm a new loyal customer, I've seen the other reviews and know what to expect - I think working with him and his idiosyncrasies is worth it.

I have been working with Dan for over 10 years and he is truly the BEST groomer on the front range - I am not kidding! Dan is a true lover of animals and it shows in his craftsmanship. Dan is a straight shooter and I respect him highly for his disposition! Keep the laughs coming my friend! Bravo Dan!!!

Interestingly enough, my dogs are happy to see Dan when I drop them off. Anyone who truly knows dog's knows that this is an incredible sign that Dan is knowledgeable and good with dog's. I couldn't be happier with the stellar service Dan provides! Highly recommend!
