PetSmart Grooming

Maria M did an awful job on my doodle. Service took over 5 hours , so we expected way more than what was received. They completely forgot his Add ons for his Spring Special Package, I had to go back in and ask for it. Upon picking up my dog, the groomer told us that he was cut shorter because of his matting. Understandable. But when I got home, I saw major irritation from cutting too close to his skin, Nails that were never cut in random spots, also supposed to be rounded out. Didn’t happen. His entire body is uneven, tail looks atrocious, and overall ruined his confidence. Cherry on the cake was that it costed nearly $140 for all of this. I trusted PetSmart for a reliable grooming service and was given what’s seemed to be the lady’s first day ever touching a dog. Never coming back!

Kaylee did such a great job with my Ollie and he was done pretty quick! Looking very handsome and happy coming out of his appointment! Kaylee was very kind and sweet and handled Ollie very well during his visit! I have an Aussiedoodle I usually prefer him shaved due to allergies and he has never looked more handsome and clean! Thank you to all the staff at the grooming salon! Ollie will be a repeat customer!

This is the second time I have been turned away when bringing my Goldendoodle for a scheduled grooming appointment. On this occasion, the groomer initially took my dog inside, only to call me shortly afterward and ask that I return to pick him up. While I understand that Saturdays can be a particularly busy time, using "matted hair" as a reason to deny service should not be a recurring justification, especially when the same concern has never been an issue during prior visits. My dog has been groomed at this location numerous times—always the same dog, same size, same style, same grooming needs, and this time my dog even has shorter hairs. I also consistently schedule appointments well in advance, often at least a week prior. It is disappointing that the only times I encounter issues are when the store appears to be short-staffed or overbooked. If appointments cannot be honored, I believe a timely notification would be the professional and respectful approach, rather than having clients arrive in person—only to be turned away after the fact, or worse, after they’ve already left the premises. As a long-standing customer even with membership, I am deeply disappointed by the inconsistency and lack of consideration shown in these instances, and I regret to say I will no longer be returning.

We came here 6 or 7 times with our 2 dogs for their "pawdicure". Everything was smooth and perfect. Then 1 of our dogs was mishandled and hurt by 1 of the male groomers. The female groomer who handled my other dog even apologized. It was so traumatic for my dog that he now has to be FULLY SEDATED by our vet in order to get his nails clipped. He has to stay there all day until the sedative wears off. He's 1 year old and we're going to have to sedate him every month or two for $200 FOR THE REST OF HIS LIVE just to get his nails trimmed!
