Petco Grooming

I only give 1 star because this store never opens on time. Yesterday, we had to wait until 10 am for a manager to open the store, mind you the first dog grooming is at 8:00 am. That is the reason I chose 9 am but the manager came in at about 9:45 am, there was no "I am sorry." The groomer however did a great job, she was apologetic and gave us 10% discount because of the lateness. This is not the first time they open late. I am sure PETCO is a good company but the management team on Utica Avenue needs to go. This is a disrespect to our community. We bring you business, respect you!

Jaylee provides excellent customer service and demonstrates compassionate and loving care towards my dog. I’m always pleased when I pick my dog up after grooming. However I have noticed a trend of lateness with the store being opened on time. Initially I was pleased at the wide range of appointment times offered and the option to select an early morning appointment worked for my schedule. But now there have been a couple of occasions where I arrived on time for my 8:00 am appointment only to be told the manager wasn’t there to open the store so the groomers and myself were left waiting and had to return to our cars until the manager arrived. There was one occasion when the manager did not arrive until over an hour after my dog’s scheduled appointment time to open the store. If the store will not be open on time for the 8:00am appointment time then these times should not be offered as an option for customers. Petco sends numerous reminders in the days leading up to an appointment. If I’m expected to adhere to the appointment time and arrive on time, the store should be open when I get there.

Sabrina and her staff goes above and beyond. They are pleasant with a will to please their fur babies.

Horrible… my Yorkie probably wants to kick my ass because of how they botched his haircut 😡… he look a mess , he would’ve been better off letting Edward scissor hands cut his hair. And I paid for a bath but he still smelled half like corn chips… don’t even want to talk about all the other services that they botched (teeth brushing,nail buffing 😡)

My puppy wasn’t able to get a full grooming I was called to come pick her up early and all she got was a bath and blow dry no cutting due to them saying she was peeing and bite the groomer . Which is kinda weird because she has many grooming before at petco this location so I don’t know what happen

The young lady was very nice and friendly and did a Great job!!!!!!

The staff was friendly and help with the grooming options. I loved the fact that they took their time to care for my dog. When she came home I definitely noticed a difference with her coat…it was shiny and fluffy.
