Our dogs and myself LOVE Kat!! We have used her throughout the years with our babies and when I say she’s the best..she truly is. I am a nut about my 4 fur boys. Especially when it comes to them doing something like grooming that can be scary or cause anxiety. Kat has always been so gentle and kind with them. The haircuts, etc they get is always perfect from her but what matters most to me is she treats them as her own and with care. I’m so happy Kat has her own place now and I can drop them off in a wonderful space knowing they are in the BEST of hands.

Kat was absolutely amazing! After several bad experiences with PetSmart and Petco, I was very nervous about trying someone new, but Kat exceeded all my expectations. She was gentle, patient, and truly cared about Bella. My fur baby looked great and was calm and happy afterward, which says everything. I’m so grateful to have finally found someone I can trust and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! 🐾💛

Kat at The Opal Pet Parlor is the only groomer I trust with my pups. After another groomer completely dropped the ball on my puppy’s haircut, Kat squeezed us in on short notice and absolutely saved the day. She’s not only incredibly talented, but also so kind, professional, and trustworthy. I trust her judgment so much that I don’t even have to give detailed instructions; I know she’ll always do what’s best for my dogs. I’ve followed Kat to multiple grooming locations around the metroplex over the years because she’s simply that good. Finding someone you trust with your pets is everything, and I truly can’t recommend her enough.

Kat is amazing with our dog! She has been grooming Mikko since he was 15 weeks old and does a great job of working with what he needs as he is very fluffy and double coated. We couldn’t recommend her enough. 💖

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First Grooming Experience for Grace & Lilly Today was a big day for our sweet girls, Grace and Lilly—their very first haircut! We were a little nervous leaving them for such a milestone, but Kat at Opel Pet Parlor made the entire experience wonderful from start to finish. When we picked them up, we were absolutely amazed. Grace and Lilly looked like little princesses! Their coats were perfectly groomed, their faces beautifully shaped, and the adorable pink rose bows were the perfect finishing touch. Most importantly, they looked happy, comfortable, and confident. Kat’s talent, patience, and attention to detail truly shine through in her work. It’s clear she treats every pet with love and care, and that means the world to pet parents. For a first grooming experience, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. We were so happy to find Kat two years ago! We had been to people who called themselves "large dog specialists" (88 lb Great Pyrenees). The haircuts were not great, Mackie was very upset twice when I picked her up, and they told me that if I wasn't going to bring her in every 5 weeks, that I shouldn't expect good haircuts. Kat is talented and proficient and she truly loves dogs. She is prompt and communicates very well. She is patient with my doggie and we love her!

We love Kat! When you find an excellent groomer, you follow them wherever they go. She groomed my older Basset Terrier mix when she was at Happy Tails. When she left Happy Tails, I tried other groomers and was unhappy with results and vibe. I found her on Instagram and started taking both of my boys to Kat at her previous location. She always does an excellent job on my boys' coats and they come home fresh and happy. We love Kat and she loves her job and it shows!
