PetSmart Grooming

Normally I would have given my regular groomer Katie a 10 but she was not available. However I was rescheduled with a groomer that I was told worked closely with her. When I checked her in I requested a schnauzer cut and was told she would follow all the notes from her past grooming sessions, so I felt confident that it would be ok. When we picked her up at first I thought she looked fine until noticing her while putting on my dog’s leash the groomer had taken off her schnauzer beard and most all her skirt. I wasn’t happy and did mentioned it to the groomer she did admit that she did and apologized but I felt like she should have known how to groom a schnauzer. I really hope Katie comes back to work. My dog doesn’t even look like herself and it will be quite awhile before her beard grows out. The first picture is when we picked her up. The second picture is what she looked like after Katie groomed her before and what I was expecting this time.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff here, especially Katie. Staff is efficient and sweet. My dog hates his nails trimmed and usually dreads it elsewhere.. I don’t know how Katie does it but she talks and soothes him and viola- not only his nails trimmed but she files them too. My dog never dreads getting his nails done here but is happy and excited

Staff here is great! I have a very timid dog, and she came out wagging. I highly recommend having them do the FURminator wash for medium + haired dogs. Will definitely be returning.
