Bowie Barker South Loop

We just started going to Bowie Barker and it's wonderful! The groomers are top notch and the facility is beautiful. I've lived in the South Loop for 6-years and I can say it's the best grooming facility here. Most importantly, I can tell my dog had a wonderful time while he was there. Here's a photo Bowie Barker gave me from his latest groom.

This was our first visit to Bowie Barker but definitely not our last. Teddy is a 167 pound 4 year old Newfi who had been rejected by several groomers over the years due to his size and his dislike of being brushed. With that, he hadn't been to a groomer in well over 12 months and was too matted for us to deal with. Kelly and Amara spent an entire day de-shedding Teddy so he could get a summer cut versus a total shave. Just the fact that they were able to save his tail is a miracle. They kept us posted on his progress throughout the day. We now have a new groomer so he can stay fresh! Thanks to the team at Bowie Barker! We will see you again soon.

We love Bowie Barker!!! We followed our previous groomer here and are now members. The place is small and intimate, but very clean. We haven’t used the self wash yet, but plan to do so when the boys need a quick wash. Thank you to Debbie for her kindness and always assisting us at the front and thank you to our favorite groomer ever, Kelly, for always taking care of us! The boys love her immensely. You guys have absolute gems working here! I also love that they send bath photos! 🙂

We’ve only been living in Chicago for a short time but our girl needed some much needed TLC and she definitely got that at Bowie Barker/South Loop. They were very warming and cordial upon our arrival and immediately showered our girl with love (especially since she can be anxious and wanted to bolt out the door). The location is great, customer service was amazing and the price is definitely worth it. Something I myself noticed is that even 3 days after her appointment she still smells clean! If anything I give Bowie Barker / South Loop a 10/10! We will be back. (They even send you a picture of your baby in the tub). 🥰

Just moved to Chicago and I was in need of a new groomer and i’m so Incredibly grateful to have found Bowie Baker! From the moment I walked in Debs was a delight and was very informative and helpful. Ashely, the groomer was also amazing and was very patient with Ozzie ( my 70lb Alaskan Malamute). Overall I was very impressed and pleased with the results and the overall experience!

My senior dog has never been a fan of baths but every time we leave Bowie Barker, he always smells wonderful, is shedd-free for about a week, and so happy after each grooming. The staff are always friendly and I appreciate their attentiveness to my dog.

My dog has had the best experience at Bowie Barker! We have been coming here for almost 1 year and checked out the South Loop location. Always the perfect "puppy teddy bear look" given to my bichon frise/poodle mix dog! I always get her the blueberry facial to help with tear staining near her eyes and darkening around her mouth which I highly recommend!
