Special Care Grooming

We found Rachel at a time that was critical for our family. We had lost our groomer due to a move and had been looking for a new one. I never felt comfortable with the new groomer and then Ace was badly cut during a session which required a vet visit, and wound care. Enter Rachel. She was exactly what Ace and our family needed. She handled his new found anxiety remarkably well. She took time to get to get to know him, his fears and triggers. Ace came to feel comfortable and even now jumps out of the car to go get groomed. Rachel’s skill level is shown each time Ace is groomed. The cuts are precise, ears are plucked, and anal glands are always done. His nails are trimmed perfectly. She educates our family on care and her suggestions are always on point. Rachel’s work with Ace is so appreciated. She is an integral part of our family keeping Ace happy and healthy and we cannot thank her enough.

Easy scheduling, easy drop off and pick up. Rachael did an amazing job with my puppy. I was nervous bc it was my dogs first time but Rachael took time to get her used to everything and the results are beautiful. Big thank you to you Rachael.

I highly recommend dog grooming services with Special Care Grooming. Two year old Mac (miniature schnauzer)enjoyed his Spa Day and slept all evening when he returned home from his first visit there. Rachael was very professional, knowledgeable and takes pride in her profession.

I can not express how thankful I am to have found Rachael. I had already been taking my 2 dogs to her when I decided to adopt a 3lbs Maltese from a puppy mill situation (she was one of 408) in Oklahoma. She was traumatized and I knew this girl needed a groom to help her feel her best. I didn't even hesitate to contact Rachael, literally as we boarded the plane home. We had to wait 10 days due to her having just been spayed, but as soon as she could we got her in. She was still decompressing and learning what freedom was like so I sent her big sis for some support but she immediately just took to Rachael and did so well at her first groom. I really wasn't expecting her to be able to do a full hair cut, just a bath and introduction to sights and sounds was as far as I was expecting. But she was able to get her all trimmed up! And by her third time there (second full groom) she went on her own and did great! The sounds of our 100 year old house creaking still scared her some, but a hair dryer and clippers she's conquered thanks to Racheal. She's the cutest little 4lbs (yeah, we put some weight on her!) floof and is excited to go see Rachael and get her hair done! Special Care, really does mean special care 🙂

I can’t say enough good things about my dog groomer — she’s absolutely amazing! My goldendoodle always comes home looking perfect and smelling great. She’s so patient, gentle, and clearly loves what she does. It’s hard to find someone you can trust with your fur baby, but she treats my dog like her own. Every visit is consistent, easy, and stress-free. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a groomer who truly cares!
