PetSmart Grooming

i’ve been going to this location for my dog’s grooming for years and have usually always had a very good experience. but for the last 2 visits, one of the check-in ladies has been extremely rude to me about my dog. i understand that when dogs are heavily matted, the groomers have to shave them. but this lady (i think her name is tabitha??) has told me TWICE that she would have to shave my dog completely because of a few mats. tabitha also has been very rude about my dog’s anxiety and i think it’s super unprofessional given that no one else from this location has ever acted like this about my dog. the other groomers at this location (specifically desi and stephanie) are super helpful and sweet and always reassure me that theo is in good hands which is why i’m giving this review 5 stars 🙂

New to College Station and took our dogs here for grooming. Very disappointing experience. Staff let one dog fall off the table, the other ultimately didn’t get a haircut because he "kept laying down" - now he seems to have a rash on his belly as well. In total the dogs were there for over 8 hours and half the job didn’t even get done. Will not be returning for grooming or otherwise.

I think you so much Tabitha JoJo/Joey is so happy every time he sees you his nails are cleaned perfect clean. He’s so happy thank you again so much five stars to you and the crew especially you thank you.

I'm wary of corporate groomers but this location has top-notch staff. They remember me and love my dogs and there isn't a revolving door of employees. My dogs are always excited to see them. I have Aussies and none have the same coat type so one only gets a bath and trim, one got a bath, Furminator treatments, and trim, and the other got a bath, the most intense Furminator treatment and brushout possible, and trim. Every time, my dogs came out looking great and were clearly happy, even though 2 take a lot of time and effort to brush out correctly.

My dog came home Dirty!! Took my dog for full bath/groom pkg with Joanna. They called me 90 min later said my dog was ready to be picked up. Thought that was weird cause usually takes 3 hrs. I had groceries in the car so picked my dog up quickly & left. When I got home, noticed my dog smelled like cologne but was still dirty. They only trimmed my dog but didn't do the pads of the feet or the dog's "private areas" VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!

I have been very pleased with Joanna M. for the last year+ grooming and cutting my Aussiedoodle’s coat. She is very professional and wanting to please her customers.

Our dogs loved their experience there! Stefanie took great care of our fluffy friends. Friendly staff!
