Wash Your Dog

The bath and brushing service for my beagle turned out better than expected. His coat felt soft without being overloaded with perfume, which I appreciated. Staff members were friendly and even gave a few simple tips for keeping his ears cleaner between grooming appointments at home.

My partner and I decided to try this place out while away visiting family to help them out. Unfortunately it did not go as planned. Upon entering, we were greeted by some wild untrained jumping puppies who were all over us and our dog. Luckily our dog is old and no longer very reactive. I hope this does not turn into an issue onto the future for any owner or pups sake. I am surprised that a place of business would allow animals free rein like that to begin with customers entering. Even a simple just a minute, or ask if it’s ok if they were out would have been nice. There was also very loud music (iron maiden to be exact) blaring in the background. The gentleman working was being pushy, with the music, the puppies, and the body language our pup was throwing off we did not stay and left. The gentleman started laughing as we exited the store. I appreciate that you find it funny to lose a paying customer. I care about the wellbeing of all animals. As a groomer myself, I would never bring an animal back here in the future.

I just got done washing my large (80 lbs) foster puppy at Wash Your Dog on Shroyer RD. This is a great place with a wonderful setup and a friendly staff. The price was quite good. I highly recommend them if you need to wash your dog yourself. They also offer full grooming services. I will be back with future foster dogs.

I’ve used their self service dog wash before which was fine aside from the employee insinuating that I should just schedule a groom next time with having such a big dog. Well I scheduled a grooming appointment for this morning at 8am since I had a high risk OB appointment I had to make it to at 8:30am, and the business wasn’t even open. Luckily I didn’t miss my doctor’s appointment, but I have no idea why a business would schedule an appointment for a time when they’re not even open. I’ll be continuing to groom my dog myself as I’ve had multiple issues with "professional" groomers such as this.

I have had nothing but amazing experiences at the Shroyer location. Mackenzie is absolutely amazing, my dog is kind of reactive and she loves her! We have never had a bad cut or anything and we absolutely love her and TJ! Amazing ladies. The only bad experience I have ever had was at the Centerville location but never the Shroyer location and I truly believe that’s because of Mackenzie and now that TJ has come over from the other shop. If these ladies didn’t work there, we wouldn’t go. They should be absolutely valued with their skills and the fact that they genuinely care about our animals and us.

Their services might be great, but I called today just to ask if they provide nail trimming for cats, and the person who answered the phone was rude and told me they were closed today. I’m not going to assume that just because it’s a holiday every place is closed, because that’s not always the case. It would’ve been more professional to say sorry we are not open today, but we will be back open tomorrow. Just the overall tone was rude as if why would I call on a holiday.

We were traveling through the area, needed a self serve dog wash after swimming. Very nice, good customer service, unlimited time.
