Petco Grooming

PETCO has always done an excellent job, on my two Lab/Shepard mixes. They do not get haircuts but their general grooming has always been great!

I've had great experiences getting my two huskies groomed here. It's a good deal and they always come back looking very clean. The groomers are very nice and take good care of them.

My groomer at Petco in Dublin, CA is Nicole. She has always taken the time to get to know my dogs, she calmly reassures them and I. My dogs always come out happy and groomed well. Nicole is an amazing groomer and we were fortunate to have found her. She is amazing!

I can’t say enough good things about the grooming team at Petco! My dog usually gets a bit nervous before his appointment, but the staff was so patient and gentle with him. He came back looking great—his coat was super soft, he smelled amazing, and they did a perfect job trimming his nails (huge plus!). You can really tell they care about the animals they work with. We’ll definitely keep coming back to this Petco for all his grooming needs! 🐾

We brought our puppy for her first grooming appointment and informed the front desk and stylist about it being her first time. We purchased the bath service which we understood included ear cleaning, nail buffing, gland expression, and sanitary trim. We added the extra service of teeth brushing. When we got her home, we noticed her ears weren't cleaned and her sanitary trim was barely done. It didn't look like her nails were buffed either and we have no way of knowing if her teeth were brushed or her glands expressed. We didn't check all of this before leaving the branch because she was very anxious to leave and go home. It was also our first time so we didn't know to check or ask. I called the Petco branch afterwards to find out what services were done and I was told they couldn't do all the included services because our puppy was not comfortable and wasn't staying put. We admit, we're partially at fault for not getting her used fully to grooming but the information about what services weren't done was not relayed to us when we picked up our puppy. We paid what we thought was done and they weren't transparent about it. I had to call to find out and if I didn't call, I wouldn't have known for sure.

Nicole always pampers my girls the Best "Spa Days"! She gives them beautiful haircuts always!

We use Petco grooming for our dog and I was quite disappointed by the shoddy job. It was choppy and uneven all around her face, and her genital area had scraggly hairs all over the place. I probably could have done a better job to be honest. We use the same groomer every time, if she is available, and she’s always done a great job, I don’t know what happened this time. I prepaid, including tip, for the first time because my kids were picking her up. Lesson learned - I will never do that again.
