PetSmart Grooming

I’ve been grooming both my dog and his little sister here for about 4 years now. They’re very sweet with him. He had a bad experience when he was a puppy so we kept going around the area to find one and someone recommended we go here for the convenience. He stopped coming out shaking and wasn’t nervous anymore. I recommend Allison or Jeremy (Allison is out as the moment. (Both maltipoos)

The staff was so nice but my babies were sick for a few days as well as withdrawn and sleepy. I called to speak with the veterinarian and the vet. would not offer any advice or recommendation regarding some antibiotics I had to help with their diarrhea. I was shocked and disappointed. I will hire someone to come to my home for now on. This was my experience

Horrific experience at grooming in the east brunswick petsmart. My dogs went today for bath & cut, and when I was leaving their medicated shampoo (that has been used there always and listed on their system) the manager Amber said that since the label fell off their shampoo she can not use the shampoo. I found this insane. I said to her that its noted that my dogs use their medicated shampoo. She said no and turned me away. I will NEVER use their grooming services ever again. They need better managera at these locations.

Absolutely awful experience. Our dog has boarded at their location at least 25 times. Every single time he was anxious at handoff but they were able to get him to separate successfully and he was a "perfect" dog, as per their feedback. This week we had a reservation for him to stay for the week as we were going away. The lady came up from behind our dog and put the "lasso" of their leash around his head. Our dog was startled, and growled at the unwelcome surprise. Immediately, they refused to go near him, as he "looked aggressive". Our dog has never bitten anyone, and they have years of notes of him staying there and being perfectly behaved. They refused to board our dog, and left us in an impossible situation, as we were supposed to be heading away on a family trip. Needless to say, we had to change plans, and they did not care at all. No effort was made on their part to work with us or our dog, whom they have gladly taken for years, all because of their awful approach and careless attitude. We will avoid using Petsmart Petshotel at all costs, as we cannot count on them as a reliable option moving forward.

I took my dog for day camp and I was hoping to get back a happy sleepy puppy instead he came back with way too much energy. He wouldn't respond to his name, was jumping on everyone and everything (on the couch especially surprised me because he never does that) and also peeing inside which he hadn't done in a while. Would not recommend for younger dogs... maybe much older but even then I'm not sure as I feel my dog seemed to not have been exercised or stimulated correctly and probably was not corrected for bad behavior all day. Had high hopes but will definitely never be taking him back and will be searching for a dog sitter.

They did a very poor cut. They shaved completely for my shih Tzu and never recommend if you want your pet to have good look. I told them this is first time for me when they asked me to choose the cutting inches. As a groomer, they should have adopted from some photos or atleast shouldn’t have shaved completely for Shihtzu… they made him skinny and did halfway for his face and ears

We boarded some of our dogs here while visiting family. All three came back to us violently ill the night we picked them up. When I called the pet hotel the woman told me it’s "normal" and they will be ok in a day or two. Two of our other dogs who we did not board due to their age and very small size (2 lbs) contracted the infection as well. It’s now been almost a week of diarrhea and vomiting for all of our dogs. Bland diets and regular vet care are not helping. We are currently taking our oldest fur baby to an emergency vet for consistent rectal bleeding. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR PET!!
