Dog Spa

Dog spa has been one of my go to places for the past fifteen years. They've taken care of both of my Cairn Terriers , to include my father's german shepherds. They are kind considerate at absolutely love.Their customers to include the four legged ones. You shouldn't think twice about coming to them because they really are awesome!

The employees at the shop are very loving and caring of dogs. If you want your dog to be cared for and groomed correctly with people that really do love animals. This is the place. Very professional and caring.

They are too busy to give personal attention and care to dogs and owners. I perceive it that this is a production shop and quantity supersedes quality and personal care. Don’t ever miss an appointment time. They won’t call you with reminders ahead of time nor call you if you are running late. Instead they will call those on the wait list and refuse you. And they will never call you back. Yet, there is no way to get on their wait list! They can cancel for last minute trips often but you can’t cancel or arrive late due to an emergency. If you want careful and attentive grooming or have a busy life/have unforeseen emergencies then go elsewhere.

I have been taking my 2 German Shepherds here for a while and they love it. This is the only place that can do my females claws without a problem. They are always friendly and sweet with all the animals that come thru. Would recommend this place for sure!

Tess is the best groomer ever! Been taking my sweet yorkie to her for years. Will follow her anywhere!

Jennifer is amazing! Our sweet boy is a rescue and hates to have his feet messed with. Jennifer has been so sweet and easy to deal with. It's so nice to be able to drop off my fur baby and know he's in great hands and getting love. He is not a fan of water or nail trims but does great with Jennifer at the spa!!! So happy we found her!

Literally the only place we take our Goldendoodle to get groomed. We went through a long journey to find a groomer for our Doodle, Thor. We went to maybe 11 different groomers in the Upstate since he was a puppy and weren't particularly thrilled with the results at any of the locations. We always requested for them to try to keep the retriever look, mainly in the face, and not to make him look like a poodle but each place ended up shaving him down and gave him the poodle look anyway without even consulting us. One groomer shaved half of the dog and he began to freak out and they made us come and pick him up half shaved and we couldn't get him scheduled for another appointment for over 2 weeks. Back in summer 2021, my wife and I were going on vacation with friends and decided to take Thor to dog training instead of a regular kennel. We ended up going with Astro Kennels in Simpsonville and loved them. While he stayed there we were asked if we wanted to get him groomed and decided to go ahead and get that done as well. When we picked him up we were thrilled with how he looked. The staff told us they were moving to a new location soon off Woodruff Rd and gave us their business card. We've been going here ever since and couldn't be happier. The staff are incredibly friendly and courteous. If there's an issue where they'd need to shave more off than previously thought they make sure to call us to see what we'd like to do, something other groomers rarely seem to do. Always recommend them to anyone looking for a dog groomer.
