Abby’s Dog Grooming Salon

I’ve been coming to Abby’s Dog Grooming for the last couple of months, and it’s hands down the best spot in Kakaʻako, probably even on the South Shore. The owner is incredibly nice, bilingual in Japanese and English, and just super easy to work with. My Bernese Mountain Dog is pretty fickle and not a fan of being brushed or washed, and she handles her really well, which says a lot. They also have a self service option, which I’ve used, and I’ve had my dog fully groomed there too. Both experiences have been great. It’s just a really well run place and you can tell she cares. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of service you’re getting. Nothing but good things to say about Abby and this place. I’d recommend it to anyone in the area looking for grooming or just a place to wash their dog. I’d give it six stars if I could.

Chika has been regularly grooming our dog for over four years. We can always expect to pick her up meticulously groomed, with the cutest cut and smelling great! We know whenever we drop her off that she will be well cared for, giving us peace of mind.

My husky had a messy accident while I was at work following a seizure and Chika stayed open well past her normal business hours and welcome us with open arms. Her salon was calming, CLEAN, and incredibly welcoming. Well equipped, more than enough supplies, and fantastic customer service. Thank you, Chika!

Both of our babies love Chika. They’ll always get excited when we mention that they’re going to see Chika. If you’re looking for an excellent, caring groomer for your babies, have Chika groom them.

I love my doggie when she comes back from Abby's Dog Grooming Salon! Chika does such an awesome job. I don't know how many times people have asked me where I take my doggie to get her haircut! Thank you for taking such good care of us!

First of all, Chika’s an honest kind person that you can be comfortable leaving your buddy with. And she’s so dedicated in delivering his/her best look that she often flys to conventions to refine her artistic skills!
