Kontota of Central Houston - Mobile Dog Grooming

I cannot say enough good things about Kontota of Central Houston mobile grooming company. They went completely above and beyond for our 17-year-old Shih Tzu, who can be very temperamental and anxious during grooming. After being turned away by several other groomers because of his attitude and age, we were honestly losing hope of finding someone willing to help him. Not only were they patient and understanding, but they treated him with so much kindness and care throughout the entire process. You could tell they genuinely cared about making him comfortable and stress-free. His haircut turned out amazing, and we are so grateful to have finally found a groomer willing to work with senior dogs that need a little extra patience. If you have an older dog or a pet with behavioral challenges, I highly recommend giving them a call. Truly outstanding service and compassionate people. Great job Jessica!

Kontota was recommended to me by a close friend and they did not disappoint! Alejandro groomed my golden doodle, Remi, and I am more than pleased! First, it was very easy to schedule the appointment and they kept in touch with me giving me an ETA and they were on time. Alejandro was very kind to both me and Remi. He took the time to let Remi get to know him and get comfortable before he started grooming. He listened to me and what I was looking for in a groom and he also updated me during the groom. Remi came out happy and looking so good!! The price was also very reasonable. I was very impressed with the groom and just the overall experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and will definitely be using them again!

Johnathan did an amazing job grooming our dog, Shelby! He was polite, warm, and very comforting…especially since this was our first time using a Kontota mobile grooming service. He handled Shelby with such ease and clearly understood her limits. We will definitely be using this company again and will be requesting Johnathan—he’s superb!❤️

My 18 week old cocker spaniel had her first grooming. Medium hair bath and mini groom they did her paws and trimmed her up very well. Paid about 100ish dollars. They are mobile and will come to you. They give updates and send photos during the process. They give a window time of 2-3 hours and the process took about 1.5 hours. My puppy enjoyed her time with the groomer and we are very happy customers. Will use again! Thank you!

This was our first time using a dog groomer and it was great! It was incredibly easy to request an estimate, talk through different options with them, and schedule an appointment. I was able to schedule an appointment the next day. Jonathan arrived on time, was friendly, and very communicative before, during, and after the dog grooming process, including sending us photos of our dogs mid-clean! I originally planned for this to be a one-off cleaning, but after such an incredible experience with Kontota, I plan to be a regular customer. Can’t recommend them enough!

Sara was wonderful! I have an older dachshund mix with very dark, fast growing nails and Sara does wonders with them. She's also great with my anxious Pomchi, he comes back happy and looks fantastic.

I can’t recommend Callie and Kontota grooming enough! We have three very bouncy English Springer Spaniels (Abbey, Penny, and Poppy) and finding a groomer who can handle their energy, thick coats, and endless tail-wagging is no easy task. Callie is a miracle worker. She always nails the classic Springer cut — beautiful feathering, clean feet, and those long ears look perfect every time. What really sets her apart is how calm and happy our dogs are with her. They used to be nervous at grooming appointments, but now they run to the door because they love Callie so much. She’s also super accommodating with scheduling. If you have sporting breeds (or any breed, honestly), ask for Callie — you won’t be sorry!
