Scenthound Houston River Oaks

It’s fantastic and very affordable for our area. I have a golden doodle and a Standard poodle that I have been taking to Scenthound for around two months. We previously got them groomed at The Pet Barber. Scenthound has been fantastic for weekly/every other week washing, and we just utilized them for a groom for the first time. Our dogs look great!

Wonderful service & friendly staff each time I bring my lab here. I love their package for the bath, brush, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and blow dry! I appreciate their easy scheduling system and fast service. I know that my dog is so well taken care with them.

I love the membership option. There have been some confusion and extra phone calls but my conversations with the owner have been amazing. I’m on satisfied customer at both locations, meyerland and river oaks!!!

This place is top notch; from scheduling my first appointment, to providing vaccine documentation, appointment reminders and, my actual appointment. The staff were friendly, professional and informative. I was hooked when asked to smell four different fragrances, and pick my favorite, to be used on my dog. They spent extra time with my dog as she is blind and has lost her ability to hear. They are more than groomers, they are a health care establishment taking great care of their clients.

They did a great job on my golden doodle, Amy. She was matted, and her fur was long. I was updated about her grooming during the procedure. The personnel are informative and delightfully friendly.

Great new grooming spot in our neighborhood! I recently took my dog to Scenthound River Oaks and was really impressed. The salon is super clean, no bad smells, and they always check vaccination records, which makes me feel safe about my dog’s health. I loved their holistic approach—they checked my dog’s coat, skin, teeth, nails, and glands, and gave helpful recommendations. My dog is 4 years old, and I’ve never seen such a thorough health check at a groomer before, only at the vet. The service was fantastic, Josh at reception was so friendly and patient, explaining everything in detail. You can tell they really care about the animals and want to keep customers happy. They also explained the membership options clearly without any pressure, which I appreciated. Everything was done quickly—my dog was ready in 1.5 hours. We asked for a few small adjustments, and they handled it right away, no problem. My Yorkie Matilda got the best cut she’s had in years—she usually comes out looking like a little mouse.. They also have a convenient app where you can book an appointment there. Highly recommend this place, and wishing the owners all the success in their business!

The did excellent job! I am so pleased my 14 years old baby hair cut got so awesome finished. The also did some basic check his heath and everything is perfect vs other ones experience I have. He was sooo messy.
