Doggie Gone Grooming

I took my Australian Shepherd for her first grooming experience (touch-up) and was so pleased with the results! Both Karina and Lisa were very attentive and took time making sure my dog was comfortable. She was so soft and beautifully brushed with her sanitary area trimmed. Definitely worth taking your dog here even if you think the home baths are sufficient - Lisa and Karen will do their magic to show you what a difference a caring groomer can make for you and your pup! Warmest recommendation!

Had an 11:30 appointment. "Karina" said it would be an hour and they would call when ready. An hour and a half later I had to call and was told it would be ANOTHER 45 MINUTES, because they were very busy doing other dogs and fitting in services to our dog in between. We immediately went to pick up our dog and there were NO CUSTOMERS AND NO OTHER DOGS in the place. A different gal backtracked and said that I was told 2 hours to finish a dog, which I wasn’t. She also said Karina "had to go lay down." This is our first and last experience with this place. With customer service like this they will be "Dog Long-Gone" grooming when customers start to fall away. For our money we will continue to go to IB grooming. They have never disappointed. Everything you wrote in your reply is a lie. Was it because Karina had to lay down? Or our dog was too big? Or there were other dogs you were doing while fitting in my dog? Or my dog needed a stress free environment so you kept her waiting an extra hour? There is a lack of communication. If asked we will definite express our opinion with our IB neighbors. And respect is a 2-way street. If you exercise poor communication with your clients then you disrespect them and their time. Your reply to our experience demonstrates your lack of accountability.

Karina was amazing with our dogs we have brought 2 dogs to her and she gave them perfect cuts. We will be going back again with both dogs soon. It’s definitely the Best spot in Imperial Beach for a dog haircut or grooming.

We have a beautiful Westy who has always looked sharp. This was our first visit to Doggie Gone Grooming, and we were very pleased with the result. Making the appointment was easy, we were greeted cheerfully, he loved being there, and he came out looking like a champ. we will absolutely be returning.

This place is an IB gem! I have two doodles and their groom always looks AMAZING! You can tell the staff takes great care in ensuring the safety and wellness of dogs during their visit. My smaller dog, Koda, has special needs due to his IVDD diagnosis and recovering from paralysis in his hind legs and they do an amazing job to make sure he feels comfortable and safe during his visit. If you love and care about your dog, you'll take them to Karina for their grooming needs. She is an incredible groomer and genuine person. She actually takes the time to listen to your concerns or grooming goals and gets to know you and your dogs. I've been taking both of my dogs to her ever since she first opened. One of my dogs is a rescue and can get be scared of humans and other dogs at times when out in public so I was hesitant at first. When he goes to Karina, he is not that same dog. She creates such a safe and calming environment for your fur babies. Her grooming salon has truly become a home away from home for my dogs.

The ladies working here were very nice. I was a last minute walk in with two dogs that have not been bathed in a few months normally they go to my groomers that deals with them and I pay $80 both of my dogs for their bath, nail trim and butt squeeze including tip $100. I walked out of this place Doggie Gone Grooming paying $172 including tip. WOW. For reference my dogs are about 35 to 40 lb. They do not close until about 4:30pm yet when I pick my dogs up they were still wet. Needless to say that I do appreciate them taking my dogs in and bathing them as it is not something I myself have time to do but for the price and receiving wet dogs I will not be back.
