PetSmart Grooming

I have been using this grooming salon for my jack russells for awhile. On numerous occasions I have booked an appointment, taken off work come to bring my dogs here and them have call ins and cancel without saying anything. They are ALWAYS insanely rude. Making comments like wow their nails are long. Seriously if you would come to work and do your job they wouldn't be. Having a dog that gets car sick every time he gets in the car makes it insanely nerve racking for him and myself already. When they do show up for there job and tell you 2 to 3 hours for service because the amount of animals they have is beyond ridiculous. What is the point of making an appointment???? I am literally sitting in my car as we speak about to work in my car for the next 3 hours. At this point I will be looking for a more reliable and friendly service provider. Do not waste your time and money here.

Once again the Science Diet I needed was empty on the shelf. So like once before, I went to the many pallets on the sales floor and luckily there were several bags. I was grabbing one near the top and surprise surprise here comes someone to tell me that I'm not able to purchase it, because the pallets haven't been scanned in yet, and will not be until next day. Btw, a greeting or assistant before this would have been nice. I've worked retail for 33 years and managed for 28 of them, so I know there's a protocol for shipments. But never ever have I turned away a sale for that was on the sales floor. In fact, I enjoyed seeing the relief on my customers face when they saw that I had what they were looking for. But associates these days are not built like that. Not to mention the crew at this location at Pavilion Way Lexington, KY weren't an enthusiastic bunch. I know what it feels like to have rude unreasonable customers, so I'm pretty patient especially when I see them working hard. But this was not that crew. With more competitors in town now, it's time for change. Feeders on Harrodsburg road is close to work and had it in stock last time. Friendly employees. And if they are out of stock, it's not because 1/4 of their stock is on pallets on the sales floor. Do better.

I used to take my Bassett Hound here a while back so I'm not sure how they are now. But they were the only place I could take her that did a great job clipping her nails. Any place else either barely did it or I had to hold her while they clipped them. Her coat was also always shining and smelled so good.

First time I took my dog there to the Pavilion Way location to get groomed she was 3 months old and had all her shots as required and filled out the pre checking online. When I got there I was told they couldn’t do a haircut because it was her first time going to the groomer (I thought they were trained to handle that) needles to say it would have been nice to have gotten a phone call letting me know before I wasted my time taking her there. I decided to give them a second chance so made an appointment for today July 4, 2022. Now today I get a phone message saying that they have to reschedule her appointment because they AC is not working. Hmmm…so my reservation at the pet hotel wasn’t canceled because of the AC but her grooming appointment was. Sometimes sounds fishy in their story!!! Anyway, I’ve given Petsmart in other locations my business for the past 15-20 years but no longer will I they get it especially the Pavilion Way location. The groomers there are the worst and need to be retrained in customer service and etiquette.

This was first time in all the years going there wasnt happy with service didnt do good job trimming cats nails, and couldnt do section of matted fur which another place retrimmed nails and groomed fur in 20 mins, heart worm prevention was over do didnt get done either

It's much better to take my girlfriend's dog here than to have her butcher it at home. She thinks she can do it, but it never looks right.
