F​unky Pup Mobile Grooming

We recently moved to Lubbock and noticed the adorable Funky Pup mobile driving down the road and decided to give him a call… best decision EVER❣️ Very VERY affordable on top of sweet, gentle and professional! Now addicted and booking at least once a month🫶 THANK YOU Funky Pup❣️

Charged $40 for a bath and nail clipping. Hilariously high pricing for services offered. Services weren't explained before being rendered, we expected a trim to be done for this price. Groomer that was sent out to my location must be super new to his job, or just in a super hurry (He arrived 30 minutes late)- he overcut one of my dog's TRANSPARENT nails by half a quarter inch, then got scared and only cut a tiny bit off of the rest of her nails. Beyond this, he missed the dewclaws entirely, and the overall the nails are super rough. Accidents happen, and that's fine, but just stopping halfway through a job isn't. Aside from clipping a dogs nails being grooming 101, the detail put into the bath was minimal. My dog was returned to me with eye boogers still all over her face. When I reached out to Funky Pup, they replied "Sorry we left some eye boogers, do you want us to come back and clean up her face?", when I explained that I wasn't upset only about the eye boogers, their reply was a facetious "Is there anything else we can do for you?". So let's recap: Showed up late, didn't explain services at all, overcharged me for mediocre at best bathing, cut some of my dogs nails (one waaaaay too much), and has hilariously bad customer service. I recommend you literally anywhere else in Lubbock.

Excellent service and soo much better for my dogs! I 1st saw my neighbors was using them. I thought oh I probably can't afford it 😕. How wrong I was! My neighbor told me how kind Rueben was and how wonderful he was with their dog. Also affordable and comes to your home!! Very easy to schedule an appointment! I have 2 rescue dogs, Monique who was left behind in a box behind a store. Well she's scared of everything! He trims her nails . For a reasonable price, she doesn't cry out like she did at the vet's office and Pet Smart. I like to say Rueben is a Dog whisperer and my dogs instantly trusted him! Save time and money and know with confidence that your fur babies will be in great hands with Rueben and the Funky Pup.

Rachel (mobile groomer) was amazing. She allowed me to sit with my cat and that helped him remain calm. She kept things clean, wiped down the table and cleaned each piece of equipment before using it. She treated my cat gently and worked at a pace he was comfortable with. She was meticulous about his haircut and it was very even and symmetrical. The price was reflective of the level of service provided and the fact she traveled to me (it was only about $10 more than the last groomer I used with far less impressive service that I drive to). Loved Rachel and will definitely return 🙂

We have three dogs, they are always sweet with them all, even the old, grouchy one. They carry our pups from home to truck and back again. Quick service! Just all around great people!

Ruben is a great person who is also a great groomer. He’s so gentle and complete.

Our corgi Zetta is a really finaky dog, but Rachel and Ruben have been very patient with her and do a great job grooming her.
