Wishbone Pet Care (Boarding, Grooming & Daycare)

Took my baby Blue to his first grooming session here! Everyone was so kind and they sat me down beforehand to go over his care and get to know more about him. I loved how much they cared ! And his hair cut was adorable!!

We have been taking our pets to Wishbone Pet Care since 2015, and at this point, they’re practically family. The level of care, compassion, and dedication they show goes far beyond what you would expect from a pet care facility. Tammy, the owner, and Nancy, the manager, consistently go above and beyond for both us and our pets. They genuinely care, take the time to know each animal personally, and always make us feel like we’re leaving our pets with people who love them almost as much as we do. Over the years, they’ve been there through every stage of our pets’ lives, and we honestly couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else. If you’re looking for a place where your pets will be treated like family, this is it. Highly recommend!

I love the atmosphere of this place. The manager and owner are extremely professional, kind, and helpful. I’ve had limited interactions with the owner (maybe 4 times or so,) but every time I have, she’s been such a help. Nancy on the other hand (manager) I have had innumerable interactions with her. She is truly one-of-a-kind. Professional, very knowledgeable about the dogs and even the cats that occasionally board there. She’s helpful with customers, she asks questions when trying to get a better understanding of the pets needs, she’s just a very radiant soul and you can feel it from the second you walk in and are greeted by her kind smile. Overall, I guess what I am trying to say is this place is truly special. They are passionate about the animals, helping the customers, and making you feel like you are cherished as a customer. My dog is a chocolate lab mix and as she’s getting older she has been struggling with constant itching and ear infections as well as dandruff. I brought my dog into wishbone one day and was greeted by Tammi! She offered to do an allergy test for me and after all the money I’ve spent trying other remedies I thought it would be worth the try. Also seeing as how I never thought about that as an option! She scheduled a consultation after the results came back, and the findings were alarming that everything I was feeding my dog for the most part she was allergic to, which was causing all of her uncomfortable skin reactions. She gave me a list of things I could feed my dog and food that she recommended that she stayed away from and I haven’t seen my dog so happy and itch free! Which saves me money and time at the vet! I was thrilled with the exceptional care my pup received at Wishbone Pet Care. The Wellness program really made a difference in her overall health and happiness. Wishbone Pet Care Team went above and beyond to ensure her needs were met. I highly recommend their services for any pet owner looking for top-notch care. 10/10

Wishbone Pet Care is absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, friendly, and so loving toward my pup. They took the time to ask about her needs, personality, and any special instructions, which instantly made me feel at ease. The grooming itself was perfect—she came out looking fresh, clean, and smelling amazing! I could tell she was happy and comfortable the whole time, which says so much about the care they give. Their attention to detail and genuine love for animals really shows. We’ve definitely found our go-to groomer, and I highly recommend Wishbone to any pet parent who wants the best for their furry family member! 🐾

Our dog Lady has been coming to Wishbone for years. Unfortunately, we are not feeling the same especially with the turn over in staff/groomers. John and I felt very overstimulated when we went to pick up Lady. Tammy was suggesting teeth treatment which is fine but Lady’s vet suggested not to because of her age. I did explain about what the vet said and Tammy agreed and ask if we wanted to book for a five to six week because of her skin because the groomer (Stephanie) suggested. Stephanie was saying five weeks and I told her Lady will not be back in five weeks. She normally comes with 2-2/12 months. However, I don’t like the "used car salesman" mentality. Lady have been coming there for years and John feeling uncomfortable because it’s feeling too much like a "used car salesman" pitch. Granted we appreciate the suggestion and being informed on what’s going on with her. It would be horrible to lose a long time customer because of the way we feel when we pick her up. I remember Stephanie was the one who said she had fleas and the vet told us that wasn’t true. Not to complain but being too pushy will cause us to find a new groomer which we all would dislike.
