Dakota did a fabulous job with my Yorkie and Schnauzer. We opted for the travel option as our older pups tend to do better in familiar environments and we try to avoid leaving them places longer than necessary. Dakota brought all the materials needed for the groom including the table, leashes, and the most delicious smelling shampoo that made their fur so silky soft - he even wore booties inside our home while he worked to protect the floors on a rainy day. I appreciated the care he took with my babies and the end result was just what we asked for. I especially loved our boy’s first Schnauzer cut. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ruff Paws for grooming and intend to return as a customer when it’s time for a spring cut!

Dakota and Nathan were so amazing for my first experience with a professional grooming with my 10 year old Ringo. He has severe anxiety and hates loud mechanical noises like blow dryers and since his coat was so thick he had to have a pre-blow to get rid of some bulk. After his bath and blow-dry they lit him take a little bit of a break to relax and see me for a few minutes before doing the cut and nail work. I also really appreciated the detailed directions. 500/10 would revisit! My grandma’s pup doesn’t get along with my cats, so when I brought her to my house for the holiday, we dropped Penny (the pup) off with Dakota and Jessica at Ruff Paws, and we couldn’t have hoped for anything better! Penny was well cared for and loved on. She got to stay in a homey atmosphere with great people! Dakota was very thorough with intake and care info, especially with the respiratory infections making the rounds in the dog communities. He made sure Penny was safe and that Penny would keep the other pups safe, too! We got occasional photo and video updates throughout the week (you can see Jessica loving on Penny in the video clip)! And when we picked her up, she’d been bathed and had her nails clipped! She smells so nice now - and for a pup who loves to roll around in the grass, that’s saying something! Overall, I’m just overwhelmingly happy to have had Dakota and Jessica at Ruff Paws looking after my grandma’s pup, and if I had a pup of my own, they’d be our go-to anytime I’m out of town!

Dakota is so patient and kind! My foster dog McKennie has been through a lot of trauma and doesn't love strangers! Dakota took the time to make sure he was comfortable and did a great job on his bath and haircut despite McKennie not loving certain parts. Thank you so much Dakota and definitely recommend him for your future grooms!

Dakota was very patient with my old and grouchy dog. He got down on her level and was very kind, gentle and patient. He was just able to get the mats out of her paws which is HUGE for my snippy dog. I was able to see the same care for every dog that came in. The grooming area was neat and clean. Dakota was very hospitable to humans too!!! Highly recommend.

One million out of five stars. Okay listen, if you, like me, didn’t realize this was a residential business and were a little wary when you pulled up, I can vouch. Atypical setup but incredible service! Dakota was so kind, clear, and accommodating to a last-minute nail trim for my airedale terrier. Highly recommend, will be bringing my dog back here for all grooming needs forever and ever.
