Cynthia (or Cindy?) is the best groomer we’ve had!! She makes Kona (maltipoo/ poodle mix) look super cute, and she nails the teddy bear look. Kona always comes back with a fun accessory too, like this bandana, which is such a nice gesture. I’m bummed we moved away but highly recommend

This service here is second to none! So much so, we travel from Harlem to Bark Ave Grooming on 83rd st. Our groomer Carol meets our dog at the door and is greeted with the happiest little wagging tail. She's a wizard at getting your dog to trust her and allow her to bathe and groom your dog. A true testament to the type of groomers employed @ Bark Ave. Carol and the team are professional and will leave your dog shiny, happy and smelling fresh! We've been using them for 6+ years and would continue to do so if we weren't moving this May. Its my hope to find someone as loving and caring to our baby as Carol and to find such a professional establishment in our new home. IF you love your fur baby as we and IF you care about their well being while being groomed, you can do no better than Bark Avenue Grooming. This place is the best I’ve tried in Manhattan. My dog always smells soooo good for weeks and I feel like you get your moneys worth. I can tell they take great care of my dog. I can’t believe how long the good smell lasts!

Trying to get my dog a nail trim and running over after work. Hours say they are open till 5 but when I called and told them I will be there by 4:40 for a nail trim she told me to come tomorrow as she is leaving at 4:45. What great service.

This groomer is so wonderful. They take great care of the animals and are very gentle with them. They always call to make sure any change to expected cut is ok (my pup needed a shorter haircut due to some mats) and always make their best effort to get you an appointment as soon as they can. Could not recommend them more!

I’ve been to this grooming salon 3 times now. The first two times were a good experience. However this last time, they shaved my labradoodle all the way down. There was no styling around her face, it was just shaved. There was a long razor line down one of her back legs that was cut deeper than the rest of her shave. There was no shaping or styling with this cut, just shaved all the way down. Something I could have done at home and not paid over $200 for. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

This place is the best. My Louis goes here regularly. They always are quick and efficient. He’s a 120 malamute w two coats and they crush it every time it comes time to shed. Thank you to everyone there.
