Bark Avenue Play and Spa

I recently brought our sweet poodle Bingo in. The front desk person was so nice and friendly. She answered all my questions and was very patient. I told them I wanted him short because we have a lot going on and I wanted something easy to maintain and they did a round face which turned out so cute. We love this cut on our poodle. I can tell they really paid close attention to detail, his nails, haircut looked great. Pictures don’t do justice. This cut is perfect! Thank you!

Bark Avenue always does a wonderful job on my Jack Russell Terrier, Buster. He smells amazing & coat is so soft! Prices are reasonable. They also post a picture of your pup with a themed background on Facebook. It's really cute!

They short shaved my doodle including his ears, face and tail without so much as a phone call. Appt was at 9 am and at 240pm they hadn’t started on him but close at 4pm. They were finished at 330pm. They claimed they shaved him bc he was matted. I spent 40 min before we went in combing out his tail and left SPECIFIC instructions that his tail CANNOT be shaved as it turns into a whip and hurts my children. Shame on you for shaving my dog because you didn’t allow adequate time to groom a 90lb golden doodle. We have been to many groomers and NO ONE has shaved his face or ears EVER. They also would never expect to do a full cut and groom on a 90lb dog in a hour. Do not take your dog here as they clearly are in a hurry and don’t follow directions or bother to notify if they have to deviate from the request.

At the previous groomers I went to before I found bark ave, my dog would always be so afraid and reluctant to go with the attendant when I would leave her, even after several visits. Now that we have found bark ave, truffle trots right in like it’s her second home. Thank you for providing a safe space for my timid girl. They also do an amazing job every time we visit

Horrible customer service. Does NOT know how to cut poodles. Every time I take it dog there, they say she was matted and cut her bald. This last time I intentionally brushed her regularly so that wouldn't happen and they did the same thing. When I complained, the manager said I was trying to get "something for nothing " and put an additional $25 fee on from when i canceled 8 months ago to be extra difficult. I wouldn't take a dog there. I'll never go back. I only responded in the same manner I was spoken to. My MINOR son dropped the dog off and you had him sign papers. I'm not the only one who's had this problem. Read all of your reviews. Your reply to my review shows how you respond to issues you have with customers. All you had to do was apologize for the misunderstanding and maybe take a few dollars off. I kept her away that long, brushing her consistently and bathing her at home to grow her hair back from the last time you scalped her because I wanted her fluffy. So of course I was upset that you scalped her again. You're "glad to see me go" lol. I bet. BEWARE PEOPLE. THEY'LL TREAT YOU THE SAME WAY!
