Birch Haven Kennel & Grooming

We cannot say enough good things about Birch Haven Kennel. They have been so kind, patient, and outgoing with our dog from day one. It’s clear they truly care—they consistently go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and well-taken care of. Our dog is actually happy to go there, which gives us so much peace of mind! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for the high level of care they provide. Highly recommend!

Just brought my dogs back again! It’s Timbers 3rd time and a first for my other two. I have Kangals and Anatolians and these guys didn’t even question taking them and just loved on them! Not an ounce of fear😂 Which is refreshing! They came out happy and healthy, per usual! My puppy, Kotoko, had an ear infection and they gave him his ear drops every day and took very good care of him, despite his breed. It’s hard for me to get sitters usually because of their breed. Birch Haven is a saving grace! Picture is of the two who went there for the first time. If they can manage Anatolians, they can care for anything! HIGHLY recommend.

We have a large dog and they do well with her every time. She’s always happy, healthy, and clean when we pick her up! Walt has always been kind and they are quick to call back. The care our girl receives from them makes it worth the 35 minute drive to bring her here opposed to closer options.

Took my Timber-baby here for the week! I picked him up this morning and I swear he didn’t want to come home😂 And he is a MAMAS boy… so that should definitely tell you something. He had never been boarded before but when I dropped him off I knew he’d be okay. He immediately warmed up to the owner and employees. He walked out as happy as can be and was EXCITED to see the owner. He also came out smelling and feeling amazing. He was just so happy. I was so nervous to leave him but I’m so glad I found Birch Haven! We will be going on vacation again later this summer, and there is NO doubt in my mind that I will be bringing my sweet boy back here❤️ Enjoy this photo of him on our way back home from the kennel😂

Great place the dogs are always well cared for.

Excellent grooming and boarding (purchased both). They watched my orange Tabby and my family’s two Shepards (one in particular is a real handful) for two weeks and both dogs and the cat were happy, healthy and so very clean and well groomed upon return. Birch Haven was recommended to me by friends of my mother from the church, and I would recommend them to anyone. 🙂 Walt and staff were extremely friendly and professional. I am very grateful that I have found Birch Haven Kennel & Grooming. It is a locally owned business and the owner, Walt, is very helpful and has gone above and beyond to be of good service to my family and my dogs! I have a Dalmatian and Boxer, so it is comforting to know that my fur babies will always have a safe place to go when I need to be out of town. Also, I love that he will kennel them together and let me bring them blankets from home, I think my dogs would be traumatized if they had to be separate!! Thank you Walt!
