Petbox Mobile Grooming

Decided to try a new mobile grooming service, Petbox Mobile Grooming, after my previous groomer unfortunately closed due to the current economy. I booked a haircut and bath and added an extra service for senior/health conditions, which is described as including additional time, tools, products, or labor to accommodate the pup’s needs. About an hour into the appointment, I received a text from the groomer stating they had to stop services due to my pup’s condition. I was extremely alarmed by the message and immediately went outside to check on my dog. It was very difficult to see my pup visibly stressed and choking against the neck harness. Given that I paid for a specialized add-on meant to support pets with additional needs, I expected more care and precaution to ensure my dog’s comfort. I also would have appreciated being notified much earlier so services could have been stopped sooner. My pup was returned half groomed, soaking wet, and smelled of urine and feces. Despite this, we were still asked to pay full price. We are not new to mobile grooming and have never had an experience like this. Unfortunately, this was very disappointing, and we will not be returning.

I had an amazing experience with Petbox Mobile Grooming. They came right to my home, and the groomer was so personable, but first and foremost, completely professional. My pet was excited and happy the whole time; truly a pet spa on wheels. The convenience, the care, and the quality were all outstanding. Highly recommend!

If I could put 0 stars, I would. Their prices are VERY misleading. They hook you in with a lower price ($75 for a bath & haircut for a dog 11-20lbs) & then tell you it’s $155. Supposedly it’s more because they’re mobile (almost $100 more than the price i thought I was booking at) & then they ADD a fuel charge on TOP of that. Please do yourself a favor and book with someone more affordable, that will be upfront & honest about their prices. I would have never booked with them if I would’ve known the price & honestly shame on them for charging $155 for grooming a dog that 12lbs in this economy. NOT WORTH IT!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

I had the pleasure of using PetBox Mobile Grooming today for the first time. I was very impressed! I worried that my dog would not behave, but he was very comfortable with the groomer and he even got a cool bandana! They were very patient with my dog, listened to all my concerns, and my dog looks great! They were on time, communication was excellent, and the van was very clean. They’ve gained a new repeat customer from me! I’m very pleased.

Straight trash totally mess my puppy up the last picture is what they did destroyed my baby. You live and learn back to Petco she will be going the price was no problem 140 dollars she under 6 pounds. But the aftermath was definitely disappointing 😞 and I know I am not the only one the little they did left was uneven. This WOW job . If you see this truck run 🏃‍♂️ 👀 for me no stars not even one . You guys have a wonderful day and stay away from Pet Box...

I have been a customer of PetBox Mobile since 2024, but as of today I will no longer be using their services. My experience with this company has become extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The level of disrespect shown toward a paying customer is unacceptable. In my opinion, if a company can treat its customers poorly, it raises serious concerns about how much care and regard they truly have for the animals they service. What was most frustrating is the lack of accountability. Services were added without my knowledge or approval, which increased the final price beyond what I originally agreed to. Transparency and communication should be basic standards for any business, especially one responsible for caring for pets. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company for services for a human being, let alone for a dog. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their professionalism, communication, and customer respect moving forward. Also, this review is regarding management, not groomers. I can only imagine how they treat their employees.

Sophie has been grooming our dogs for over 2 years now, and having her come directly to our home is so convenient! She is so good with the dogs, and her skills are spectacular!
