Mudpuppy's at Point Isabel Dog Park

Coolest place ever. Pricing is fair and they are wonderful with the pets. It's always quick to be seen, as a walk up shop, I feel we get in immediately. There are dogs off leash in the surround parks. There's a snack shop with hot dogs and coffee around the corner, of that same building, and right across the way is a beautiful view of the Golden gate bridge.

I have two very sweet but extremely nervous Jindos. Nail trims at home have been a struggle. They tremble, wiggle, and non-stop lick the nail cutters. The staff are so kind, calm, and efficient. They trimmed both dogs’ nails quickly and safely. One of our pups had a dew claw injury and they were super gentle and went around it. We were in and out in under 5 minutes. Super fairly priced too. At Muddypaws BOTH dogs plus a 20% tip was only $45! I am to paying $50 PER DOG at our vet and we normally are at the vet for 20-30 minutes…huge time and money savings. The biggest pro: my dogs bounced back immediately as soon as we went outside. Being able to walk around the park before and after also helped them shake off any nerves. Highly recommend if your dogs are anxious or hard to handle for nail trims. We will definitely become regulars.

I brought my doodle here after hours of the beach and some trails. They took me as a walk-in on Labor Day. They saw him in 5 min and had him clean with a wash and towel dry in 15 minutes. He came out with a cute fishie bow and a big smile. For, no hassle at home with the bath/sand or blow drying and a happy pup.. the $45 price was great.

Our dog Moe is a very anxious dog. The staff here have been absolutely lovely with him; gentle, kind, and understanding every time. We’ve had a different groomer each visit, and all of them have treated our boy with such sweetness and professionalism. They’ve also been super accommodating, even fitting us in for a quick wash on short notice. We’re so grateful to have found a place that makes Moe (and us!) feel comfortable and cared for.

Perfect nail trim/grooming experience for my low-maintenance cattle dog mix! She got to play at the park, then have a quick bath and nail trim while I sat outside where she could hear and see me. Much lower stress (for both of us) than any other professional grooming experience I’ve had!

They'll happily bathe your muddy pup after play dates at Point Isabel. I go on week days so there's never a wait. Bonus - there's a cafe next door and it has great food too.

Point Isabel is a great place for dogs to roam and have fun. The capper is Mudpuppies with their great wash and care service. We get regular nail trims here. No bleed, no problems!! They are great! Dependable!
