Pooches & Smooches

My Bichon, Gracie, loves going to Pooches and Smooches, and I love the way they groom her! We always request Leigh, who grew up with Bichons. She does a great job with Gracie, and I’m always happy with the way Gracie turns out. I highly recommend Pooches and Smooches!

They do a great job. My mom was having a great time finding her dog Oscar a groomer because he has anal gland cancer and does bleed from his rectum often. Other places said that they couldn’t groom him because of this. Pooches and smooches said it wasn’t a problem and worked with us to get him good care. Thanks!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Pooches & Smooches! I brought in my dog, Whisky, and the team treated him like a VIP from the moment we walked in. The grooming was absolutely top-notch. Whisky looks adorable, smells amazing, and seems so happy and comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly loves animals. They took the time to listen to exactly what we wanted and even gave us tips to keep Whisky’s coat healthy at home. I’m beyond impressed and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring, high-quality pet grooming experience!

I must have driven by this place about 1,000 times until one day DH and I decided to stop in to see if we could get a quick nail trim for doggo. They happily took us a walk-in. These ladies are great! Lots of dogs getting groomed. There is even a 'play and stay' area for short term doggie day care. All the dogs there looked relaxed and not stressed. The staff was gentle with them. My dog got a quick nail clip with no drama for a reasonable price. We are glad to have them so close by.

OMG! We are so glad to have found you all! Webster has never looked so good! We also love the fact that they are not put in a crate unless necessary, a stress free environment for the dogs for sure! YOU ALL ARE THE BEST!

My dog has been with STACY for 9 years, my opinion she's the BEST groomer ever. A year ago, I moved out of state and started taking my dog to Petsmart for grooming services, afte picking my dog up from her 1st visit, within 5 minutes she had a seizure. Took my dog back 6 weeks later for a 2nd appointment and she had a 2nd seizure after picking her up. Took her to the doctor where they did bloodwork which came back negative, the doctor suggested that seizures were brought on because she was having bad anxiety while at Petsmart. My dog is back in Richmond for a short stay with my daughter and had a grooming appointment with Stacy yesterday and to my surprise there was no issues and no seizure which she never had prior to Petsmart. I would recommend Stacy and her team to anyone that Love their 4 leg furry pet. I am on the search for a new groomer that provides the same level of exceptional services as to what I received here. I already miss the staff.
