Just Like Magic Pet Grooming

First time for my furbabies here... Tammy was so good with them. She took the extra time my 2 year old golden needed. She isn't a fan of the dryer or her head touched. My old 13 year did great even though she is always nervous. Was nice to find a new groomer who was close to my house and had a personal touch. Reasonable prices, too... HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your furry family members 👌 Tried to get some pics...they weren't all that cooperative..lol

Our pup Copper got into a little bit of mischief his first time at the dog park. He/we found out he loves mud puddles. After I finally was able to get him out of the mud, he was an absolute mess. I called 2 dog groomers to see if they could get copper cleaned up, both of which basically told me they were booked "you'll have to look elsewhere". I found Just like Magic on a google search, called and spoke with Barbara. She was so sweet and sympathetic to my situation. She was able to work Copper into her busy schedule. He looked like a completely different dog from when I dropped him off to when I picked him up. Barbara did an Amazing job, our Copper looked beautiful. Thank you so much Barbara, you definitely worked your magic!!

After an illness kept my girl from having her regular groom, she quickly turned into a matted mess. Once she was well, I began calling around to see if anyone could take her in at the last minute, because she was really matting out of control. Luckily, a call to Roy got my little Maltese in this salon within an hour, and she came out looking lovely. I was worried she'd come out bald, but she actually has a puppy cut and she even caught the eye of a tow truck driver when we were on our way home. He gave her a big smile and a thumbs-up. She's home now on her favorite blanket resting happily. Thank you Roy! You have a new customer for a long as we have this sweet little girl with us. 🥰

Don’t come here. I brought my dog in for a nail trimming and Rory, who I assume is the owner was the one who "helped me". I brought my 9 year old pitbull to him, and explained that my dog is a bit shy and would prefer if I held her while he trimmed her nails. First red flag was he told me that it wasn’t acceptable that I go back and hold my dog. He told me "it was easier" if I wasn’t there. I was hesitant but he insisted he would take care of her while he took her in the back and I accepted. Please keep in mind, my pittie is black and has dark nails. This should be taken into mind when trimming a darker dogs nails, especially with the possibility of cutting too short and causing harm to the nail. When Rory brought my dog back to me he sated "not a big deal, it happens all the time but her nail is bleeding. Put some pressure and it will stop bleeding." Excuse me? It’s a pretty big deal that you’re bringing my dog back to me BLEEDING. Upon examining her nails myself after the appointment, I come to realize it was NOT ONE NAIL bleeding but it was THREE NAILS of hers that were bleeding. 2 nails he either didn’t notice he cut way too short or just didn’t bother to tell me about. In my pitties 9 years of living I’ve never had this happen to my dog before. Ever.

Just tried this groomer on Saturday, and Tammy made myself and my pup, Finnegan feel welcome. Having a Goldendoodle is a challenge to keep groomed and Tammy is a rock star. There are no weird stray fur and he's absolutely adorable. Will definitely be back!
