What an absolute nightmare. I took my cat here to get groomed for the 1st time and I got her home out of her carrier and she had blood all over her coat and her paw. The groomer 'accidentally' clipped her nail back too far he said. Before she was washed he had me sign a waiver that stated their could be 'a chance' that light Knick's or cuts could happen but it's not a 'regular' thing I had the weirdest feeling signing that waiver because never in my life have I had a pet groomer make me sign a waiver for 'potential knicks & cuts' before I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND bringing your cat here. As a first time client, I am extremely upset, dissatisfied and upset for my fur baby and pray she doesn't get an infection in her paw from this He claims he loves animals but to be so careless especially as a first time customer and experience, I won't be back and don't recommend you bringing your animals there either
We LOVE furry friends. This is the fastest most reliable and budget friendly place to take your pets. We have a little scruffy rescue with different colored toenails and we take her to get her glands expressed and toenails clipped every few weeks. They always take her right back and take care of business - no appointment necessary. Also extra praise for the lady with the lipstick tattoo was so lovely 10/10
Yikes, was hoping this spot so close to home would be perfect for my little Persian cat. He is used to being groomed so he’s very well behaved. Pros: they did a great job deshedding and he is much softer now. He had a few tangles and they’re gone and his coat is softer for sure. I’m super allergic to him (but like still worth it look how cute he is), and I can already feel my allergies are less severe when holding him. The customer service was ok. Negatives: he smells worse than he did before I brought him in, his paws were not trimmed and don’t even seem like they got cleaned, his tear stains were entirely untouched. He had gotten too close to my pottery wheel yesterday and got some clay on his leg, which was still there after I picked him up. I can’t speak for how they do with dogs, but I know for sure I won’t be bringing my cat back in again.
I would never recommend Furry Friends to anyone. When I visited to check on my cat, I was completely shocked at the conditions. Every cat cage I saw had poop and pee everywhere, the litter boxes were knocked over, and there were no beds or clean spaces for the cats to rest. I had provided special food for my cat with clear instructions, but when I picked him up, they handed my food back to me — unopened. The food in his cage looked old, crusty, and completely inedible. It was obvious they hadn’t fed him properly the entire time. No pet should ever be left in conditions like that. It was filthy, neglectful, and heartbreaking. This place should not be allowed to operate as a boarding facility. Please, don’t trust Furry Friends with your pets.
Best groomers ever ❤️ Great with our kids. Family owned and unbeatable prices in town LITERALLY They are in San Diego, not El Cajon 😉 off 15 and El Cajon Blvd. Kitties' lovers and parents: $12 for kitty nail trim All 4 🐾 The best groomers in town and cannot beat their pricing. They are so caring and loving to our fur babies. Linxy gets her nails done when Guero get bathed/groomed as well. The entire staff very knowledgeable and caring. YOU MUST GO TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES HER.
Horrible, I pay $147.00 dlls for my three love schnauzers Xina, Chico, ghost, get sheared and they tail do not shave when we ask you to get it cut, she says no, I'm not going to do it. They look horrible bad, terrible. I don't have words to make people understand that this place doesn't care about our love dogs or cat or any other pet; please, for all you guys see, help me to give this place a lesson. Take your place to other place were you not going to pay for something the you don't like or want. This place doesn't deserve our business. Or your business, let me take some pictures hope I can post and you will see for yourself
SECOND UPDATE: see below (on yelp) for how owner chooses to respond rather than make it right. She blames an animal for peeing herself out of fear and then gaslights ME into thinking she peed herself in MY bone dry carrier rather than PLACING a pee soaked cat from their kennel to my carrier without notifying me. Your employee told me she nicked herself, rather than tell the obvious truth that you suck at clipping nails and hit her nerve which is hard to do tbh. The conversation was dismissive at best and STARTED with her taking no accountability and no empathy on her part, just annoyance. My cat let me bathe her AFTER this ordeal and was perfectly relaxed with water and a loud hair dryer. Don't trust a word out of the owner's mouth, read the other one star reviews and see the similarities yourself... shameful. I will be taking whatever action I see necessary against this "business" UPDATE: Spoke with the owner who blamed MY cat for peeing on herself, and took no accountability for maiming my cat and basically said "I’m working late won’t be able to help today but I can look into it" This place needs to be shut down. ORIGINAL REVIEW My cat is very meticulously clean and didn’t even need a bath but I wanted to pamper her. Tried this place out and should’ve known instantly from the smell and vibe of the place, it reeked of piss and the back room looked like a dungeon. The front end guy didn’t even know I was coming which was another sign despite scheduling online. I left and came back and picked my Luna up. We got home and she was limping due to a nail cut too short and bleeding, wouldn’t let me touch her and was acting traumatized which is complete opposite of her chill, easy going personality. Her bottom half was soaked still, it smelled like she was bathed in piss and her eyes were all gunky like she had been crying. I have never been so horrified by a service and I am not one to complain but please please PLEASE don’t bring your fur babies here, they are not safe and the price may be cheap but you get what you pay for. I ended up cleaning her myself and she’s already acting more normal, she was clearly horrified by whatever treatment they gave her and by the pungent smell of other animals’ piss. I tried resolving this but they never picked up the multiple times I called in. Will be disputing this transaction on my credit card. STAY AWAY, the other one star reviews are accurate. 😞
