Ruff to Fluff Dog Grooming

Meticulous job by Jen. We needed some fur clipped in the back to make bathroom time tidier for our Norwich Terrier, who doesn’t normally get machine-clipped due to the natural type of fur on this breed. Jen delivered beyond expectations! She asked a lot of questions before she began to make sure she delivered what we wanted and because I was nervous about her being clipped where we didn’t want. Jen gave my pup a perfect sanitary cut in the back and shampooed and dried her so well that a lot of undercoat came off in the process (a good thing with this breed). Shop was super clean and since she does only one dog at a time, it was calm and my pup wasn’t nervous. Not cheap but was well worth it. I’ll be back.

Trying out new groomers as a goldendoodle owner always feels like a leap of faith - but after this Monday with Jen we are not looking back! Jen took the time to ask thoughtful questions about Millie to make sure it was a good fit on both sides, and she made Millie (who has the classic doodle grooming/separation anxiety) feel comfortable the whole time. She genuinely cares about her clients and takes time to perfect the cut. We’re so glad we found her. Thank you Jen❤️

Couldn’t be happier. I’m always so nervous about leaving my dog at the groomer but we got incredible individual attention and I felt so reassured. Our dog has a challenging coat and we’re very particular about keeping it long enough to protect her from the sun and wind but short enough to stay clean and comfortable, and we got the perfect balance. Lots of listening, kindness and patience during hand off and also took way less time than expected. Honestly our best ever grooming experience, can’t wait to bring her back.

I just took Betty Sue to Ruff to Fluff for the second time. When we arrived at Ruff to Fluff, Betty Sue was a bit hesitant to go in, but it was not a big deal. There was none of the usual trembling and shaking like she does at other groomers or veterinarians. She was mostly okay with it. When I arrived to pick her up, she was wagging her tail and wiggling her body, happy to see Daddy. However, there wasn't the usual squealing and yelping that happens at other groomers. Also, she wasn’t jumping straight up and down, boing, boing, boing, for at least a half-block after we walked outside. I believe this is for two reasons. The first is that she does private grooming. She only takes one dog at a time unless the dogs live in the same house, or else if the dogs are good friends. The other reason is that Jennifer treats Betty Sue more like a friend than just another client. Jennifer even texted me a picture of Betty Sue on the grooming table. I have nothing but praise for Jennifer and Ruff to Fluff dog grooming.

I can’t recommend Ruff to Fluff enough! Jen is truly a gem—she’s phenomenal and you can tell she loves her work and it shows in every detail. She’s incredibly kind and patient with my dog and always makes sure she’s comfortable throughout the grooming process. Jen is meticulous in her work, and our pup always comes out looking (and smelling) amazing. The salon itself is spotless, which speaks volumes about the care and professionalism Jen brings to her business. So grateful to have found someone in the neighborhood we can trust. Thanks, Jen!

Highly recommend Ruff to Fluff! My Lula Is a five year-old Bernedoodle who does not like to be brushed, loves the mud and is not a fan of grooming. She loves going to see Jen and getting groomed by her! The salon is very clean, very calming because there are no kennels or other dogs, and she loves the special attention she receives. We have to keep Lula short in the spring and summer because she overheats quickly. Jen really listens to all our wants and needs and does a fantastic Haircut. She cuts her main body short, but keeps the cuteness around her face and tail. We have been to the salon twice since it opened and can honestly say these are the best haircuts Lula has received in five years!

I’ve taken my dog Lando, a Shepherd mix, to Ruff to Fluff twice now for a bath and shed control treatment, and both times have been excellent! They didn’t just do a quick brush-through—this was a thorough de-shedding treatment that made a noticeable difference. After each visit, I’ve seen significantly less fur around the house, and Lando’s coat feels softer and healthier. The nail trim and ear cleaning were top notch, too. What I really appreciate is how comfortable and relaxed Lando seemed at the salon. He’s not the biggest fan of grooming, especially the nail trims, but the owner handled him with such care and patience. He came out looking and feeling happy. I appreciate that they only work on one dog at a time. I think that makes a big difference, along with the clean and calm environment of the salon. I highly recommend Ruff to Fluff. They take the time to do the job right, and you can really tell the owner loves what she does. Lando and I will definitely be back!
