Absolutely loved the service here! My dog came back looking clean, happy, and well cared for. The staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they work with. I already have my appointments scheduled every 4 weeks and definitely recommend them!

My dog almost got sepsis after his dematting. The groomer de-matted my dog so aggressively that they left MULTIPLE cuts all over his body which got infected and turned into abscesses. We had to put my dog on multiple rounds of antibiotics due to this groomers negligence. Have spent over $2000 in vet visits since the incident (3 weeks). My dog is an extremely sweet and gentle boy and it breaks my heart knowing I almost lost him to reckless negligence. If you are dealing with pets, treat them with care—I cannot even begin to imagine how much pain he must have felt during his grooming to yield such severe cuts. Extremely disappointed and upset. The groomer didn’t even feel any ounce of remorse towards their actions.

The people that work at Showtime take dog grooming very seriously. If you want your dog to look it's absolute best and groomed like it's literally going to the Westminster dog show, this is the place if you live in San Francisco. The attention to detail is unmatched. Everyone that works here genuinely is nice and I think everyone here loves dogs. Everyone at Showtime is good at what they do and they do not cut corners. I can almost guarantee your dog will be 100% blow dry dry. I can practically guarantee that the dog will be ready for the Westminster dog show. The shop is very orderly. They are experts at what they do. They have as many tools and as dedicated as a doctor would at a hospital. The lobby is warm and welcoming, you are likely to see a Trader Joe's candle going.

Bernard does a fantastic job grooming our mini Bernedoodle. He’s reasonably priced and gives one of the best dog haircuts we’ve had in years. She was very matted, and while most groomers would have insisted on shaving her, Bernard patiently worked through the tangles (he does charge for dematting, as expected), and gave her a beautifully shaped, hand-scissored cut. He really understands doodle coats — he owns a doodle and a poodle himself — and takes the time to deliver a thoughtful, adorable result. Her face looks especially cute, and while she hates having her photo taken, we couldn’t be happier with how she turned out. Highly recommend Bernard, especially for anyone with a doodle or curly-coated pup.

Bernard and the entire crew here are excellent! You wouldn’t expect your dog to love the groomer, but she seems ecstatic whenever I bring my pup in! They do a fantastic job at everything - my dog leaves cuter, softer, and smelling so good.

This was the best experience I've had with a groomer in the City. From the first conversation on the phone, I was sold on bringing in our toy poodle, whose hair has been butchered all around San Francisco in the last two years. Bernard (the owner) was knowledgeable, passionate, and reassuring, so we gave it a shot. I'm SO glad we did. The atmosphere was inviting and the crew welcomed us warmly. Time was taken to thoroughly discuss the cut and expectations, which I appreciated. Our girl was matted, so I knew it would be more than just a bath and shape, but she was finished well within the timeframe discussed. We can always tell when our dog has been traumatized by a grooming, but she returned to us a bouncing, prancing happy little princess with the most adorable cut ever! The muzzle was a little long, though, so we gave her back and Bernard oversaw the redo until it was done to perfection. Wow... what an amazing experience. I walked out a loyal customer. I'm so grateful to have a place to take her now that I can count on for quality work and a wonderful experience. I wholeheartedly endorse this business and hope they stay around for a long time.
