Quality Pet Spot Willow Glen

I can’t say enough about Quality Pet Spot of Willow Glen and their wonderful staff! They are friendly, professional, and reliable. What I appreciate most is Yoshi’s unique ability to bring our grooming ideas for our puppy 🐶 into reality! We’ve been taking our dog to QPS for years and cannot imagine life without them!

I had used Quality Pet Spot before their move to the Meridian location and never had issues. My recent visit was appalling, from the setup and reception to the grooming itself and how my concerns were handled. My dog was cut along the side of his genitals and on his testicles. The staff never mentioned his injuries at pickup. He is now wearing a cone and being treated with a prescribed antibacterial cream. After multiple messages, calls, and texts, I was told to take him to the vet and submit the invoice so they could "see what they could do." The grooming and vet costs together were close to $400. I do not expect reimbursement. The grooming area is completely closed off with no window for owners to see what is happening. That alone should concern any pet owner. Think carefully before taking your pet here.

I don’t write reviews too often, but my experience at Quality Pet Spot deserves all the praise. I took my dog to get his nails trimmed here and they were beyond kind, patient, and loving while my dog was terrified. I didn’t get a chance to learn anyone’s names, but thank you to the woman that cut his nails and the man that jumped in to help hold him. I felt so bad with how stressful it was, but they were truly so kind. Thank you thank you!

The grooming service itself is okay, but watch out for the receptionist. If it were just about me, I could let it go. But she roughly grabbed my dog by the neck with that grooming leash and pulled way too hard, not even caring that kind of action could seriously hurt a dog’s cervical spine. I offered to handle it myself, but she insisted and kept pulling. I was so upset — it was unacceptable and completely unprofessional not knowing how to handle a furry baby with care and love.

If I could rate 10 stars, I WOULD. I called the team ahead of time to learn about their nail services. They explained their process and prices easily, within an hour I showed up as a walk in and they accepted me and my 130lb Great Dane. As expected the smaller dogs were uncomfortable with the presence of a XL dog. Still the groomers insisted they would work with us. To make everyone at ease they trimmed his nails away from the smaller dogs at the front of the store instead of at the grooming tables. This quick thinking ensured a safe, quiet, and quick service. It took all of 10 peaceful minutes. As a large dog owner I’m so used to being turned away no matter how well behaved my dog may be simply because he makes others uncomfortable. I appreciate the team for thinking on their feet and being inclusive. Also, I asked to turn his dragon claws into chocolate chips and that’s EXACTLY what we got! Thank you.

Great friendly service from Maria the receptionist to Matthew the groomer. They are one of the few places that will cut my dog’s sensitive nails. New place is a bit sterile and hard to park. Would love to get a quick report on how my dog reacted and behaved- An idea for the future

I’ve been bringing my dog to be groomed at Quality Pet Salon Willow Glen for over 5 years. Yoshi always takes amazing care of my dog and his hair cuts are perfect. And I’ve always had a great experience with drop off and pick up!
