They are so great with my two big puppies! Maral is fantastic and has a way with animals. Her love of dogs is paramount to her business and it shows in everything she does.

Warning: Our Dog was injured (symptoms of severe internal bruising) during grooming. He is a normally very happy golden retriever , yet was visibly upset at time of pick up. The Groomer and staff denied awareness of an accidents or incidents while there. Within an hour of leaving Paradise, his pain level increased serve level. His body was quivering intensely and his breathing was shallow and uneven. He would not get up from his dog bed, would not eat-drink, and did not want us to touch him. Severe pain that required strong meds lasted for over 3 days and required a >$350 vet appt with lots of tests (thankful no symptoms of cancer or broken bones). Upon reporting the incident to the Owner, they stated that the Groomer/Staff report to them that our dog seamed fine at pick up and were unaware of any accident-incident while grooming. The owner stated that vet would need to provide clear evident that pain was linked to an specific grooming injury to reimburse for the post grooming vet bill. We had not asked for reimbursement and of course a video camera would be needed to show a specific incident casing an internal bruising injury... We are writing this as a warning that our sweet dog was painfully injured while at Paradise and the Staff and Owner seem to only care about taking any responsibility. No explanation and no apology.

I took my maltipoo to Pet Paradise for a grooming, specifically requesting a shorter body cut and teddy bear face - the groomer even suggested it. But when I picked up my dog, it was completely shaved! They claimed it was due to knots, but why didn't they call me to discuss? Shaving my dog without consent was unprofessional. $90 for this service is a rip-off - I could've done it myself. Very disappointed and won't be recommending them. 03/06/2026.

Simply love this establishment and it starts with the awesome owners and their passion for quality of life for all cats and dogs. We love driving from the peninsula to Santa Cruz to get Yogi groomed. Their service is remarkable in the least. Their prices are so fair. And their smiles and disposition are priceless

First time taking my boyfriends dog to this salon I have to say this place is very nice! They did a fantastic job 👏. At first the dog was super nervous 😓 but when I picked him up he was so calm. He was very soft and looks brand new 😍 I do recommend this place. They book quickly so make sure to you schedule in.

Friendly and Caring staff - - GREAT! They take the time to listen to your requests and/or concerns and we could tell right away that our guy Eddie would be comfortable there. Always in good hands with our groomer Karli. IMO, price is on the higher end of the spectrum, but totally worth every penny. Eddie rarely even wants to leave when we come get him!

I am very pleased with the service at Paradise pet salon in Santa Cruz! They took the time to listen to me about my dogs ear infection, and style of haircut mommy wanted. They over delivered and their salon looked very hygienic and professional. I would recommend anybody in Santa Cruz to take their pets there!
