Yo Dawg Groom Spot

Katrina is literally the best!!! she consistently goes above and beyond for my two outrageous pups. She’s literally the only groomer that will do what I ask because I always ask for my Doodles hair to be cut very short (it’s LA, they are hot). She does a great poodle face and poodle paws and honestly is the best groomer that I found in LA so far. She’s also incredibly kind to both me and my fur babies and takes plenty or time with them to make sure they are happy and the cut looks superb. Truly cannot recommend her enough!!!

This was my 4 month maltipoos first time at the groomers and I was very pleased with the service I received! My pup is skittish and can be very dramatic and Darick was very sweet and tolerant with our puppy! He was able to get more than I expected finished with his first time grooming and his fur smells great and is super soft! He also provided training techniques to help desensitize our puppy to grooming so that he’s more calm and less stressed when being groomed. Everyone was very upfront and transparent about pricing and help educate me on how to take care of my pups coat and keep him healthy! Highly recommend!

Wish I had made this review sooner! This place is amazing! I, like most dog owners, can be picky about my dogs hair cuts. Derick always does a fantastic job, and does it exactly how I ask! The salon is nice, clean, and they don’t keep the dogs in kennels. They’re separated in little fenced off cubicles. Highly recommend this place if you have a doodle, or other long, high-maintenance coat dog!

Jane is amazing! We've taken our little rescue girl, Persimmon, to multiple groomers and even the vet couldn't trim her nails, but Yo Dawg was able to do it! They were so great with her! I still can't believe how good she looks. Update! Jane was able to give Persimmon a haircut for the first time today and she looks gorgeous!

Our dog just had his first cut here and looks amazing! Luis did a great job and the folks at Yo Dawg are so nice! Will be back the next time we need a cut!

I can confidently say Jane and team are the absolute best groomers on the West Side. I have a rescue dog named Ruthie that I took to Yo Dawg when I first adopted her for her first bath ever. For the next four years I went once a month to Jane and team and they did an incredible job paying so much attention to detail and keeping Ruthie looking good and healthy. I then moved to South Bay and switched groomers and after a few appointments noticed Ruthie’s teeth were looking grimey so switched back to Jane and made the drive to Yo Dawg. After one appointment Ruthie’s teeth look so much better and she referred me to a great/affordable non aesthetic teeth cleaner to see. Overall I’m so happy I went back I really trust the entire Yo Dawg team….theyre the best 🙂

Yo Dogg is a great, affordable spot with a friendly staff. They always take good care of Moxx Michael. Appointments and walk-ins welcome. I swing by for nail clippings, ear cleanings, and baths regularly and they always find available groomers. The owners are from Scotland too....which feels like home for an Irishman:)
