Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Capitol Hill

We had a wonderful experience with Woof Gang. The cashier and groomer were so sweet and they made my dog (and me!) feel more calm. We usually do his grooming at home but they did such a better and more even job than I have been able to. We will be getting future grooms done at Woof Gang. He smells great, has clean teeth and ears, and his paw pad trim and nail trim were carefully done.

They did amazing!! This was only his second groom as a pup and first with this groomer and i appreciate how gentle they were as they asked what my expectations were prior to his groom. Ugh i love it! Cutty did great and was very attentive as well as the receptionist being so nice I am very satisfied and will be a returning customer!

First time at woof gang and Tanner did such a great job! Our one year old pup Princes Yue is challenging to say the least - she’s anxious getting groomed and can be very vocal and squirmy….especially when trying to trim her nails. Tanner and team did a great job at addressing all my concerns to their best capabilities while also not pushing her too much. They were able to bathe her, trim most of her nails, brush/ trim her fur in and in a short time frame. You can tell that they really care and are honest. I will definitely be a regular client.

Came from out of town. Was able to get my dog in last minute. Easy scheduling process. Jason was attentive and did a great job with my senior dog! I’ve never seen his hair so silky before!

Incredible staff who love what they do! My dog, Nala is a morkie and she can be territorial and defensive. They showed her so much love, patience , and understanding. We recently moved from another state and I’ve tried a few places in Washington that were not that nice or patient. One place even told me that she’s too much to groom. Very disappointing to hear that from a dog groomer. I honestly loved how warm everyone was, the space is very clean, and beautiful. I will be back! I don’t mind the 30 minute drive. They are worth it.

Our 5mo puppy had a wonderful experience with Jason! Our pup is pretty anxious when it comes to new experiences + stimuli, so we booked him for a mini groom to trim his face and start getting him acclimated. Jason was super understanding and very patient in helping him calm down to get all the steps done. We will definitely be coming back when it's time for a full trim!

UPDATE: Within about 32 hours of this grooming appointment, my puppy developed severe diarrhea. For the first 24 hours he couldn’t hold his potty at all, which has never been an issue before, and couldn’t even make it outside. Poop all over the hallway at my apartments. I can’t say for certain whether this was caused by stress or something he was given during grooming, but the timing is extremely concerning — especially since there was blood in his stool. This created additional stress and financial burden on top of an already upsetting experience. At this point, I would strongly advise others to think twice before bringing their pet here. ____________________________________________ I’m only just now calm enough to write this. Believe the bad reviews! I was very clear, more than once, that I did not want my puppy’s coat cut short. I specifically said I wanted to keep his shaggy, fluffy look. I repeated this multiple times, and I even stopped the grooming during the appointment to make sure the groomer understood exactly what I wanted. Despite that, my puppy was brought out with a full buzz cut and also messed up that too! They are matures and won’t take accountability at all. I was completely shocked. When I said something, the groomer told me, "This is what you asked for," which I honestly still cannot understand given how clear I was. For the record, my puppy did not have any matting. This was not a situation where shaving was necessary. This was them making a decision for me and ignoring my instructions without contacting me first. I genuinely wouldn’t have recognized my own puppy when he came out if he hadn’t run straight to me. I left the store in literal tears, and later found myself crying at my desk at work trying to process it all. If there were any concerns at all, I should have been contacted before such an extreme decision was made. That basic communication and respect just wasn’t there. Because of this experience, I will never return here. I strongly caution anyone who is particular about their dog’s coat or expects their wishes to be followed.
