Amy's Pet Palace - Dog And Cat Grooming

I called Amy’s Pet Palace as my sweet Gracie (Shih Tzu) was in desperate need of a good grooming. What I loved is that they were able to give me an appointment that very day. They paired Gracie up with Melody (groomer). Melody was wonderful and so sweet to my Gracie…and did a terrific job. Gracie was nervous at first but was happy when all was done….I’m happy I found Amy’s Pet Palace…the front desk was very kind to us too…we’ll be back!

Calypso (pictured above) has had her hair cut the last three years at Amy's Pet Palace. Calypso 's hair grwos very long over the winter, and it is luxiourious looking but she gets quite hot. So she got her annual buzz cut, looks great and is much more comfortable.

This was our first time using Amy’s, and we had a great experience. Our groomer Eileen was very clear in explaining our options for the haircut (this is our first dog that actually has non-wire hair) and helped me pick exactly what I described. Our dog looks and smells great. The front desk was very communicative, with dropoff and pickup being very easy. Pricing is reasonable as well. We will definitely continue to use Amy’s.

I have been bringing all my pups here for 20 plus years and always a wonderful experience. Elaine is very patient and gentle with my senior girl who is almost 20 years old. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Amy’s Pet Palace is awesome! They were recommended by a colleague and I would come from Brooklyn to SI because every other place I had been to kept my dog for no less than 4 hours!!! Here she’s in and out in about an hour. The staff is great with her. As she’s gotten older she’s become more anxious and they are always patient and kind. They also do a fantastic job!!

Amy is just the best! She is extremely skilled and talented. Most importantly she seems to really care about the wellbeing of my dogs, both of whom have issues. Everyone in the shop is friendly, helpful and caring. I will always recommend Amy's Pet Palace without any hesitation.

I brought my Poco here for the first time in March of 2025. The care, treatment and service he received was top notch! He was given the best cut in all of his 10 years!! They are all kind and caring and gentle. Jill is superb at what she does!! The prices are extremely reasonable. I will never go to another grooming salon!!
