BarkSuds Sugar Land

We’ve been taking our dogs to BarkSuds since they first opened, and overall it’s been a great experience. Scheduling is super easy, which makes life a lot simpler for us. We usually bring all three of our large dogs at once, and they’re always accommodating and patient with the chaos that comes with that. One of our dogs is pretty timid, and the team is really gentle and mindful with her, which we really appreciate. They’ve also started putting their harnesses on prior to pickup, such a small detail, but with our hyper dogs it makes a big difference. The only thing I’d note is that drop-off can feel a bit hectic since there’s just one main lobby and not a separate drop-off/pick-up area. That can be problematic with three dogs and other owners coming in simultaneously. That said, I know that’s more of a franchise layout/design thing than anything the team here controls, and they still handle it as smoothly as possible. Haircuts/Desheds have been consistent and well done every visit. If they ever add a pickup service or maybe even a multi-pet discount, that would honestly be the cherry on top. Overall, we’re really happy and will definitely keep coming back for our biweekly appointments.

Really nice people, including the owner who we meet at our first appointment. Our dog gets very nervous in new places, and they quickly made him feel comfortable and he enjoyed the entire process. The staff was very knowledgeable on the proper way to cut dog hair and ensure safety. His haircut came out great with no cuts or bald spots. Would highly recommend anyone bring their dog here!

This place has been so great! My dog always comes out looking clean, and fluffy, and smells wonderful! So worth the membership. Appointments are easy to make. Communication is prompt, and everyone there is wonderful! Love the adorable bandanas- such a nice touch!

BarkSuds Sugar Land provided an absolutely outstanding experience for our Cockapoo, June! The staff is incredibly friendly and personable, and we were so grateful they were able to accommodate us with a last-minute appointment. We were especially impressed by the care they took to fully brush out her hair before giving her a trim, ensuring she looked her absolute best. It is rare to find a team that is both this skilled and this genuinely kind. June looks amazing and we couldn’t be happier with the results!

I brought my pup in for a bath and couldn’t be happier with the service! The staff was incredibly friendly, gentle, and clearly experienced with dogs of all sizes. My dog usually gets nervous during baths, but they made him feel totally at ease. He came out smelling fresh, looking fluffy, and his coat was so soft and shiny. I really appreciated how clean the facility was and how they took the time to ask about any special needs or sensitivities. Highly recommend to any pet parent looking for quality care and a happy, clean pup!

So I always go to the donut shop next to this place on the weekends and today I finally noticed it. I decided to give them a chance and bring my Belgian Malinois Kai in. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The wash was fairly quick and even though I was not able to pick up my dog for an hour it wasn’t an issue all in all this was a great first experience.

We took our dog to Barksuds and couldn’t be happier with the experience! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which really stood out to us. We originally chose them because of their great monthly special for unlimited washes but honestly, we would’ve picked them anyway after seeing how they treated our dog. He’s usually very timid when it comes to groomers, but when we picked him up, it was like he and the staff were best friends. No regrets at all—highly recommend!
